《My Ex-Husband’s Regret》全部章節：第 61 章 - 第 70 章

Henry. There was this feeling inside you when you find your ex-wife acting like you aren’t important. I know we have been divorced but that didn’t change that we were once married and we had a daughter together. I was relieved after making that call, though she sounded hostile I was glad she shared her home address. And when I got here I wasn’t that surprised to see how richly the place was or how quiet it was to stay; it was a good place. Somewhere far away from the busy city and I liked that. When she opened the door and welcomed us, I was dazzled by her beauty. She was a beautiful woman no doubt and even though I didn’t let that known to her the years of our marriage I knew for a fact that she was a beauty. She was dressed in just blue trousers and a small white top; her hair was packed in a ponytail giving her a more youthful look. Her eyes met with mine and I saw that hateful look in her eyes, this felt different. Gwen has never looked at me like this before; the Gwen I know

Gwen. I entered the room but paused by the bedside, I stared at my daughter without making an effort to pick her up from the bed. I didn’t want her to go and neither did I want Henry here. I should have just bare his ass for a long time and maybe have dinner with Jas before they but once again I'm reminded that I don’t have the rights over her and also I have no time on my side. Nina and Jade have been blowing my phone up with texts, asking why I didn’t want them here now. The truth is that I don’t know what to tell them so I decided to leave the texts that way; I only told them to come before nine. It was past eight now so I still had enough time. After standing there for a while, I decided to carry her. Henry was waiting in the living room…alone and I have no idea what he must be doing in my apartment. “Time to go home baby,” I whispered to her as she stirred. Even though this was also her home…her new home to be. I knew I just had to wait for a while. “Wake up baby.” I tapped

Henry. I walked into the house with Jas in my hand and I wasn’t expecting to see the lady sitting on my couch and typing away on her phone with a plate of chicken wings and fruit juice in front of her. I didn’t bother casting her another glance as I made to take the stairs.“Where are you coming from?” She asked, my steps halted. Slowly I turned to her with a raised brows. “Who are you talking to?” I asked. “You of course or is there someone else here brother?” She asked. That’s the thing. She shouldn’t ask me that—she had no right. “I don’t think where I’ve been is any of your business, Sheila,” I retorted. “It’s my business because I wouldn’t allow you to hurt Emily. Do you know how heartbroken she has been all moon up until now? You left her to go meet your ex-wife, Henry, that isn’t a good move.” She said. I know. I didn’t want to go but I had to and I didn’t have the time to explain things to her. “That’s the business between Emily and me, you don’t have the right to in

Gwen. I woke up with a start, my whole body drenched in sweat. The dream—nope nightmare replayed in my mind. I wonder what that was all about. My eyes landed on the clock beside my bedside and saw it was almost seven. Shit! I have to be in the court before eight. I jumped out of bed to the bedroom and took a quick bath, luckily for me, I prepared the dress I was going to wear yesterday. So as soon as I stepped out of the bathroom, I walked to my wardrobe and took the dress out. It was an ash-straight gown that stopped before my knees. I threw it on and applied a light makeup before hurrying out of the house. I opened the door and I was surprised to see Ryan already there, he was leaning against his car. He waved at me to come over when he saw me, I nodded and quickly locked the door before rushing to his side. “Good morning.” I greeted him as soon as I was close. “Good morning, you look pretty this morning Gwen. Ready for court?” He asked. My cheeks were flushed as I nodded an

Henry. I couldn’t concentrate, I felt lost and I hated meeting eye-to-eye with Gwen’s new boy toy. He really had the nerve to look me in the eye while asking his non-existent question. I was so distracted that I didn’t even mention my daughter’s favorite food, I knew about it but I couldn’t say it because I was what…..jealous. Nope, not jealous. I was just angry Gwen decided to go for this boy that could be passed as a lady. I was so lost, mad, and upset that I had no idea when the court was over. It was my lawyer who woke me up from my daydream, I looked around to see everyone going on. Gwen and her family were long gone since their seats were empty I turned to my lawyer to ask some questions, I needed to know what happened while I was being jealous…..thinking about Gwen dating a boy toy. He told me what was said and how the judge need to decide on whom to give the child’s custody to but from the look of it I don’t think it will be me. I knew I did stupid things; things that I
