Breathlessness can cause our lungs to burst at any moment. We have been running for miles now and are close to the cave where we live. If we can make it there, we will be saved from the clutches of two colossal Lycans who are hot on our heels. Judging by their prominent wolf features, they must hold high ranks in their race."Hang in there, Xanna. We're almost home, just a few more miles," I urge my best friend.Thank God, we were able to shift in time, these two possess incredible speed that leaves us in awe. We were able to get a big head start since they didn't anticipate us leaving, which confused them before starting the chase. However, our lead is quickly diminishing since their pace is relentless, they are gaining ground. 'Yes, we're almost there. Once we hit the imperceptible barrier, we will be safe', Xanna replies panting in the mind link.As Era, my wolf, strides to cover the last bit of distance, we finally arrive at Xanna's mystically built

Still Alpha Female Cissy's POV We break up as soon as Xanna wakes up.We tidy up the cave and gather our belongings. Before leaving, I double-check the precious box given to me by my mother, it's securely tucked away in one of the pockets of my jeans. After taking a bath, we apply the potion once more. Although it may not provide full protection as before, it allows us to remain undetected by aggressive werewolves. In fact, we are now considered rogues and therefore our lives are at risk. Pack wolves hate rogues as they consider them a threat and may capture or even kill them on the spot. Moreover, we must avoid bumping into members of Crescent Moon at all costs, who knows how they will react upon discovering that high-ranking Eclipse Howlers are still alive! We placed our belongings on a wooden cart that one of our colleagues from the restaurant had assembled for us a few months ago. “I n

Prince Harad's POVWe shift into our massive wolf the moment we arrive at the location. Our beasts possess the natural ability to detect our mates with the utmost accuracy, as their scent was not that strong. We sprint onto the same route, it led us through an untamed jungle featuring rugged canyons and steep ravines. This region is familiar to us since we explored it thoroughly just yesterday; however, there's still a chance that the girls may have returned and left clues for us to follow. The mere thought that the possibility exists for me to meet her again today lifts my spirits. If only she hadn't fled, we would be on our way to the Kingdom by now. I can envision my mother's happiness, she will be overjoyed to finally have two more women in our household again. She has been looking forward to us having mates for so long. But then we are confronted with an unforeseen presence that triggers our doubts. Something is so off here. We shift right back."Herod, am I hallu

Still Prince Harad's POV When our eyes meet, something shifts within me.It's as though my existence gained more significance, no matter what responsibilities I hold in the Kingdom. The breathtaking woman standing before me appears so deserving of my protection, attention and affection. After a few moments had passed, I lowered my gaze towards her perfectly shaped nose and then onto those lips that captured my interest so well. Goddess! I would give anything to lose myself in that mouth, to taste it and play with those luscious lips. I yearn to take them between mine, giving into temptation as my tongue runs over my upper lip before softly sucking on it for a moment. My mind is racing but the overwhelming desire burns deep within me, never before have I felt this way about another woman. Here stands a breathtaking creation of the Moon Goddess, personally molded with great passion into this exquisite piece of art.I want her

Again Prince Herod's POV "Harad, there's something serious happening," I whispered in a state of shock as I returned to my seat. "Her name is Xanna and you won't believe it but I actually considered marking her as my own despite not being her mate!" Miserably, I rest my head in my hands. I still couldn't get over the fact that I even entertained the thought of wanting to keep the woman I just met with me forever. This is like cheating on my mate, my thoughts are unacceptable. I already have a mate, for God's sake!“What's happening to me? I promised myself that I would be faithful to my fated when I met her. And here I am, barely a day after discovering her, I'm already unfaithful to her with a she-wolf I met just an hour ago,” I groaned in agony. "The worst part is that I knew all that as I stood there with Xanna. But my desire to ask her to wait for me after work outweighed any rational thinking. To make matt
