Lucy’s POVAs he led me to the chamber that was off-limits to everyone else, I inhaled in surprise. He madly shoved me to the point where I felt overwhelmed and had to go with the flow. "Here, no one would ever disturb us...," he murmured as he hoisted me up over the long table. He spread my legs apart and raised the bottom of my dress to get a better look at my body. He then pressed his body to mine and demanded, “Kiss me.” “H–Huh?” "I said, kiss me," he whispered while patiently waiting for my first move. I put my hand on the back of his neck and slowly pulled him close. When my lips touched him, it tasted like magic. I gently planted my lips on his, caressing them until he could no longer bear it—he started to kiss me intensely. He drew me in so tightly that I could feel his hand on every inch of my body. With each kiss he planted on my lips, I let out a soft moan until I could feel his fingers removing my clothing and placing it on the floor. "Are you sure you want to do thi

Lucy’s POVI kept running until I merely didn't know where to go. The terrifying sensation that someone was closing in on me caused my heart to race with pain. Until a strong hand grabbed mine and put a hand over my mouth. It was Edward, and I couldn't believe my eyes when he murmured, "Let's go." He led me to his car, and I didn't think twice about going with him. The only thing on my mind was escaping this pit of misery.I inhaled deeply as we were now well away from Arman's place. Suddenly, I broke down in tears as I thought about what had happened to my dad and all the people Arman had killed in front of me and behind my back. I glanced at Edward and said, “Edward… just dropped me here.” Even though he was a bit hesitant, he remained silent and eventually pulled over the car. "Why do you really want to be by yourself? You don't want my help?" “Thank you. I think you should stay out of my problem." He touched my hand and said, “But where are you going now?” "Somewhere, far a

LUCY'S POV"Seven months…" The doctor answered while he took my vital signs and wrote something on his paper. “W–What?” Finally, he looked over at me and said, "Yes, you've been in a coma for seven months."Looking at him with bated breath, he smiled and said, "Don't worry, I already called your husband to come check you out." He then left the room.I shut my eyes and remember the horrible night they tried to kill me. Even now, I can feel the bullets going through my body and hear their laughter echoing in my head.I yelled out in a shaky voice. "N--No..." I grabbed the bed sheet in fear, and when the door opened, I saw Arman standing in front of me. My eyes went wide, and my mouth fell open. Having both hands in his pockets, he observed me looking at him and frowning angrily. “Arman….” “Lucy…” “Seven months?” He nodded his head, “Yes, seven months.” I wiped away my tears, “Oh…” "I know you're mad at me. You hate me and how much you want to hurt me." he said in a deep voice.

Lucy’s POVUntil we heard a knock on our door, his mom's voice, "Arman, are you there?" I gasped in shock, kicked Arman in the balls, and glared at him. He moaned in pain and closed his eyes while biting his lower lip. "F*ck... Do you want to kill me?" I quickly smirked and stuck out my tongue to make him even more annoyed as I ran to the bathroom. His expression turned somber, but he had to open the door nevertheless; his mom was waiting for him.“What’s the matter?” “Your father wants to give this to you.” Sofia said. I pressed my ear to the door to hear more of the talk, and his mother added, "Anyway, I have to go now, but before you forget, you have to clean up the mess you made with Thomas Davis." "I won't renew their contract with us; what's wrong with that?" "Listen up, Arman Romano. I'm your mother, and I'm the daughter of a former Mafia Lord. This is nothing new to me, but as long as you're the new Mafia Lord, you must follow my orders for at least a few more months bef

Lucy’s POVI sat back in the car, my hands were shaking with shock, pain, and anger. The person I thought would protect me from pain was actually making it worse. I took a deep breath, clenched my chest, and gulped, "Sh*t..." Arman climbed back into the car and told the driver, "Drive." He wasn't even brave enough to look at or talk to me after what happened there. On our journey to the villa, he remained silent, letting out a heavy sigh as he averted his eyes from me and cast them toward the window. When we went back to the Villa, Enrique stood there, expecting Arman. Enrique was going to say something, but when he saw how disappointed I looked, he shut his mouth and watched me go upstairs. "What happened to your wife?" "Don't worry about her." Arman replied. I opened the bedroom's room and slammed the door shut.***********************As everyone else got ready for the next day, I stood in front of the mirror and stared at how terrible I looked. Sofia walked in and said, "Oh
