Aliza's Point of View"I am from the future," I said, and Kayla was silent for a moment before responding"What?""I came back from the future," I said and she started laughing hysterically. "Oh, you are so funny. You almost had me there," Kayla said still laughing"I am being serious," I said as I stared at her with a serious expression on my face. Kayla instantly stopped laughing and looked at me."You are being serious," Kayla said"Yes, I am," I said"Okay, well it is getting late and I am getting tired so maybe you should go," Kayla said"I know you don't believe me, Kayla, but what I am saying is true. I came back from the past," I said"I can tell you believe what you are saying but..." "Look, Kayla. I know you think I am crazy, but I'm not. I really came back from the past," I said "Yeah, sure you did," Kayla replied obviously not convinced"I can prove it to you," I said"How?" Kayla asked"I know that your favorite color is purple, and your favorite food is Chick-fil-A. Yo

Michael's Point of View"How was your day, Honey?" Catherine asked when I walked into our bedroom. "It was okay. We spotted two rogues trying to get on our territory, but we caught them," I replied"That's good. I wanted to talk to you about Aliza," Catherine said, and I already knew what she was going to say. "I don't understand why she doesn't want to live with us," Catherine said"I know you want Aliza to stay here, but she has lived with her mom her entire life," I replied"She should be upset with her mom for keeping you two apart. You are Aliza's father, and you deserve to get to know her. I think you should demand that she stay here with us. Honestly, you should kick Tina out of the Pack," Catherine said"Neither of those things are going to happen, Catherine. It is Aliza's choice who she lives with, and she chooses to stay with her mother. I will not kick Tina out of the Pack. She is Aliza's mother," I said. I was shocked at how upset my wolf was getting at Catherine's words.

Aliza's Point of View"Are you ready to go, Sweetie?" My mom asked as she walked into my room. It was almost time for dinner, and I was nervous. I didn't want to be anywhere near Cain. "Yes, I am ready," I said"You look beautiful," my mom said. I was wearing a red sundress and had my hair flowing down my back in spiral curls. "Thanks, Mom. You look beautiful, too," I replied. My mom was wearing a nice blue dress and had her hair up in a neat bun. I was sure my dad wasn't going to be able to keep his eyes off of her. "Thanks. We should get going and meet this Cain guy," my mom said. I grabbed my phone and purse, and we walked to my mom's car. The day had gone quickly. I thought about what Kayla told me in the car about me just telling them the truth, but I honestly didn't think they would believe me. They would probably think I was crazy. I also didn't want Catherine to know I knew what she was up to. It was better for her to think I didn't know who she truly was. It gave me the upp

Aliza's Point of View"We shouldn't even be talking about this. Nothing is going to happen to you, Aliza," my dad said "I never said anything would happen to Aliza. I just believe Aliza deserves to know these things," Catherine saidThe rest of dinner was mostly silent. I could feel Cain's eyes on me the entire time, but I never looked at him. I was still shocked that the mate bond wasn't as strong as it was the first time around. I guess that was what the Moon Goddess meant when she said she was giving me the chance to choose, which meant there must be another mate out there somewhere. I knew I wasn't going to be with Cain, and honestly, I didn't think I wanted whoever the other person was. The Moon Goddess had chosen for me. Cain was evil, and whoever the other guy was could be evil as well. I wasn't going to let anyone else play me the way Cain did."Thanks for inviting us to dinner," My mom said once we were finished eating. "Of course. The two of you are welcome to eat here whe

Aliza's Point of View"I am not lying. Everything I said was the truth. Catherine is upset because I showed up here. She is mad that Josh isn't the heir anymore, and she is planning on having me killed. She and Cain are working together. She is using him. He believes she will make him Alpha once I am dead, but she really plans on giving it to Josh," I said. It was nighttime, and my dad had come over to talk to me with my mom about what happened earlier. "Aliza, I know that you have been through a lot of changes in such a short time, and it must be hard. You just found out yesterday that Cain is your mate, and that adds to it, but that doesn't mean you can go around and make up false accusations about others. You can't go around making up things about Catherine. She is hurt that you would do that, and I expect you to apologize to her," My dad said "There is no way I am doing that," I replied"Sweetie. I am with your father on this one. You can't do that. It isn't right making up thi
