Lahat ng Kabanata ng Love At First Night: Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

Standing in front of Xavier's house, with her mouth wide open, Diana couldn't help but marvel at the sight of the building. Money is good!Despite the fact that she had woken up with a different approach this morning, after texting Kelvin about accepting this apology, he had offered for them to meet up this evening after work. It was a date between her and her husband, and she couldn't wait for the night to come. Now standing in front of Xavier's house, she became nervous. It was like the night they spent together just flashed in front of her eyes, and with Xavier constantly flirting with her at work, she's reminded of the fact that she's walking into his lair. Were they going to be alone? That's not something to be bothered about if you have someone you love, right? Her conscience attacked her, but it was nothing but the truth. She loved Kelvin, so whatever it was that she thinks she had for Xavier, no! They have nothing ongoing between each other, rather she was ashamed of herself f

“She’s the one, isn't she?” Jake approached Xavier later on in the evening, ever since whatever happened between him and Mrs.Ross downstairs, Xavier hasn't come out of his room, neither did he have lunch.Jake isn't stupid. At first, he had been waiting for him to call J&C to request for another Editor, but nothing happened. Xavier doesn't want to tell him but he has made his own conclusions.Xavier didn't act as if he was in his room where he had a book in his hand, pretending that he was reading. This is what he always does anytime that he's confused. The book was upside down, so how exactly was he reading that?“At the club..your one night stand was with her.” This time Jake wasn't asking, because he already knew the answer and him not talking or sending him out of his room gave him the answer he needed. She's married!Xavier slept with a married woman, as if that wasn't okay he chose her, a mediocre intern to be his editor for his story. Everyone has been wondering what was behind

The moment the car was parked in front of the same building that Kelvin had kidnapped her to, Diana wondered if she had made a big mistake coming to this date with him. But all Kelvin said was that he wanted to officially show her to their new home. Their new home, away from the village which held bad memories for her. He was trying to make it up to her for the way he had treated her in the past, and for the fact that he was fully supporting her decision to make a name for herself as an editor. The young lady was totally smitten by her husband's charm, and all pains caused by him were gone with the wind. When Kelvin stepped down from the car and held the car door open for her, her phone vibrated inside her purse and she didn’t need anyone to tell her who it was that was calling her. Jessica! She understands that she’s trying to look out for her, but just like she said, Kelvin is her husband and this is her marriage, whatever decision that she takes she wants to be accountable f

Xavier Kings has gone insane! For the fact that he didn't tell her that he was coming over, well why would he do that? They are not friends, yet she didn't know what gave him the initiative to come over to her house, without thinking of the possibility that someone might recognize him and all hell will let loose. The last thing she wanted was any social media attention to be on her, especially not before she claims her reward for being the editor of his book. She can't have any scandal with this guy. That's what the young lady told herself, but the moment Xavier cut the call on her and she saw him advancing his way into the building. It's not advisable that he goes around asking people where she lived, so before she knew it she was out of her door with her heart in her hand. She didn't do a cross check on what she was wearing, all she wanted was to get him to leave, right now!She searched around for him and felt her heart leap when she saw him talking with someone.“Oh! There she is,

“Are you ready to talk?”Anne asked him.The two were lying in her bed, with his hands caressing her hair with no words said between them. Once again, Xavier found his way back to Anne despite the fact that she was acting weird moments ago, she has been the one to seduce him to her bed and the worst part of it all is that he let her.Now he’s feeling guilty for what he knows nothing of, it’s not like he owed Diana any commitment but he was sure living a stupid fantasy in his head, to think that she cares if he was entangled with another woman. Maybe he should accept Anne and see if he gets to feel what he feels for her with her too.He was committing a sin, a taboo.Catching feelings for a married woman, if Anne gets to find out about this. He already had imagined how dramatic his life would become if she gets to know, and that’s what he’s avoiding, despite her trying to be a good friend to know what’s wrong with him.He pulled away from her, and shifted to sit at the foot of the bed.
