Lahat ng Kabanata ng Her thirst for vengeance: Kabanata 651 - Kabanata 660

Ivonne's POV After my declaration, I folded my arms and leaned back against the long table in the library, staring straight at Elara as she shook her head at me like I’d just said the most ridiculous thing in the world.“I love what you said but I have to tell you thT You’re dreaming, Ivonne,” she said with a short laugh. “It’s a fantasy to think we can change traditions that have survived for centuries. You can’t just wake up one day and decide to rewrite the laws of the Lycan world.”I pushed myself upright.“I don’t care how old they are, we have to change to survive,” I said. “Humans only survived because they learned how to adapt. Because they changed with time. That’s how we became stronger.”Elara scoffed. “We’re not humans.”“And from the book I just read,” I shot back, “the first Lycan was human once. So don’t tell me we can’t learn from them.”She stared at me like I was about to start a war.“You know what you’re really asking for, right?” she said quietly. “You won’t just

Ivonne's POV The moment Hector finished reading the note for the second time, his jaw tightened.I barely had time to process what he’d said before he ripped the paper in half."Hector! What are you doing?"He ripped it again, Straight down the middle. Then again And again while I gaped at him“Absolutely not,” he snapped. “He’s not coming.”I stared at the pieces falling from his hand like dead leaves. “Hector—”“I’m serious, Ivonne. I’m not giving Justin permission to step into this realm.”My heart skipped. “Wait—what? You can’t just—”“Yes, I can,” he said sharply. “And I just did.”I pushed myself up on the bed. “That’s not fair. You didn’t even let me—”“He doesn’t need to be here,” Hector cut in. “Whatever excuse he’s using, it’s just that — an excuse. He wants to see you.”I blinked. “What?”Hector scoffed. “Don’t act surprised. You know how he is only doing this to see you again.”“That’s not true,” I said quickly. “We’re working together on my company goals. He’s helping me

Ivonne’s povHe shook his head, still staring at me like I wasn’t real.“You can't possibly know—”“Know what?” I pressed.Silence.“Justin,” I said firmly. “Talk to me. What’s going on?”He swallowed hard, eyes still locked on mine. But The way Justin kept staring at me made my skin itch and Not in a flattering way too. It was Not in a nostalgic way either. More like he was trying to match the woman standing in front of him with a memory he couldn’t quite place.I crossed my arms. “Okay, you’re officially making me uncomfortable now.”He blinked like he was snapping out of a trance. “Sorry. I just— I don’t think you realize how … beautiful you still.”I raised an eyebrow. “Still?”He coughed awkwardly. “I mean— not that you were ever not beautiful. I just thought… after everything you went through recently… the punishment by those disgusting creatures, the betrayal by your friend Tessa, the stress, the whole chaos—”“—I’d look like a tired old woman?” I finished dryly.“No!” he said

Author's note: Omg Thank you all for the comments you left. I honestly thought everyone had stopped reading. But you have inspired me to finish the story. I took a break to deal with finances and life, but i'm back now and will soon be dropping new books! Thank you for continuing this journey with me! xoxoIvonne POV, "That’s the problem ma’am.” Leo panted. “We don’t think this was done by Lycans. We think that this was done by wolves from the northern continent.” Leo’s eyes flickered to Justin. “Wolves we believe were led by Justin.” He declared and I froze.Leo then points straight at Justin. “We have investigated and we have very strong reasons to believe He truly led people from the Northern Continent to attack Alpha Hector.”Everything inside me goes cold.I stare at Justin in shock, my mind refusing to connect the sentence to the kind man I’ve known for months.“That’s… that’s not funny Leo,” I whisper.Justin’s face drains of color. “She's right! That’s insane.”Leo steps cl

Ivonnes povThe silence after Hector’s declaration doesn’t last long.Boots shift and Breathing turns heavy.I watch as the councilmen slowly rise from their forced bows.Every single one of them looks furious, Some look humiliated, some look murderous. And all of them are staring at me.Not Hector.Me.My skin prickles but I straighten my spine anyway. If I’m going to be thrown into this mess, I refuse to look small. One of the elders opens his mouth but Hector doesn’t even glance at him as he orders “All of you Leave,” Hector barks coldy. The word slices through the room.“But Alpha—”“I said leave.”His voice is quiet and Deadly and The councilmen clench their jaws, before One by one, they turn and head toward the door.No goodbyes, No more bows, Just simmering hatred.Elder Marcellus is the last one to move.He stops in front of me and His eyes lock onto mine enough for me to see that They’re dark and Burning. They were definitely Promising violence laterFor a second, I feel like
