We finished two periods and now I'm going to Chemistry class, then it's lunch. I frowned when I was walking to class. When I passed by people, they would just stare at me and whisper to each other. This is happening because of the encounter I had with Blake. As I was almost to class, I got shoved really hard and fell on the floor. My glasses came off and I tried to look for them, but it was hard for me to do so. People snickered."Looking for these?" said an evil voice.Right there and then, I knew who it was. Lucy Cam. The head cheerleader. Blake's girlfriend. She grabbed my hair and pulled it hard. I closed my eyes, gritted my teeth, and bit my lip hard as blood was seeping out. I was in too much pain. I opened my eyes. When I did that, it turned dark at first, but when I blinked it off and opened my eyes again, my vision was clear. So clear I didn't need my glasses. I was confused. Then, when she pulled harder, I growled menacingly at her. That's when I felt a hard slap on my cheek.

Blake's POVWhen I got to class, I sat down on my seat. I paid no attention to the teacher whatsoever. I wasn't in the mood to. I dozed off the whole entire class period because my mind was still stuck thinking about what happened in the morning. This wasn't happening. My mate couldn't possibly be Renee. My mood darkened just thinking about her. Why her?! Out of the female population, the stupid goddamn moon goddess made me her mate! Fucking hell! You know she went through a whole LOT since sophomore year! Steel growled at me. I scoffed, so now he talks. I ignored him as he continued on.The least you can do is love her! She's OUR mate! The only reason why she's vulnerable is because of YOU! You did this to her, mutt! YOU DESTROYED HER! He snarled at me.She fucking deserves it! She's weak! How many times do I have to tell you that! Lucy is strong and plus she's beautiful. Learn to love her now because she's going to be OUR FUTURE LUNA and that's final! I talked back. I was fuming on m

Renee's POVI had a lot of questions to ask my parents and things to tell them. I was in my room, currently in my own world, thinking about what happened since this morning. I was doing my homework, but I couldn't concentrate."Renee! Dinner is ready!" my mother yelled from downstairs.I sighed and pushed my homework aside. I'd have to do that later.I got downstairs and headed into the kitchen. I saw my dad reading a magazine while Mom was getting the table ready."Dad, I thought you were coming home late today," I told him and sat on a chair. He looked at me and put the magazine down."I did too, but Samuel said he'll be taking my shift today," he answered and stretched his arms. "I'm so tired!" he grumbled.I rolled my eyes at him.Samuel is my dad's best friend. He and his wife took part in taking care of me when I was a little kid, and with that, they were like my second parents. But unfortunately, I haven't been in contact with them since then."At least you don't go to school an

Renee's POVI woke up groaning in pain. My body ached, and it was sore for me to move my limbs. I opened my eyes and noticed I'm in my room. Huh? What happened last night? When I wriggled my toes, I finally had the guts to stretch my body. Crack. That felt good. Once I stood up, I felt dizzy at first, then my senses came back. When I entered my bathroom, I looked at myself in the mirror. I had dried tears on my cheek. I looked at my neck and Blake's name was gone.Huh? I shrugged, really didn't care what happened. Who knows? He probably had sex with her and all. Then my eyes widened. So that's why I was in pain last night. Now I remembered. I sighed, shaking my head."Asshole," I whispered violently to myself. How dare he?! For making me go through that process of pain. Just watch, Blake! You'll regret rejecting me or hurting me. I wanted to swear so loud, but I couldn't because my parents were downstairs.I finished showering and went in my closet to pick out what to wear. I should we

Blake's POV When I got to school, I headed towards my friends at the bleachers. It was silent, and I gave them a confused look. "Guys?" I called out to them questionably. It looked like they were staring at something. I followed their gazes. They were looking at Renee. My jaw dropped, and I quickly checked her out. She had a makeover. She was wearing a dress, her flats, and light makeup. With her red lipstick, it completed the whole look. I looked at her, hoping she'd turn around and catch my eye, but she didn't. She continued walking as if no one were staring at her. I sighed and shook my head. No time for her, Blake. Remember, she's useless. I quickly said it in my head. I turned back to my friends and saw their lustful faces. I growled quietly. I couldn't help but feel angry because they probably had dirty thoughts about Renee. Luke was the first to snap out of it. He smiled, looked dazed for a while, and then turned to me. Weird. I thought. "Oh, sup, Blake." He greeted me
