His eyes filled with desire and something else I couldn't quite put my hands on.I stood up just before he reached my desk. Without warning, his lips crashed into mine. His kiss was intense, his tongue exploring my mouth as he groaned softly. His hand tangled in my hair, sending shivers down my spine. Moments later, I felt his grip on my waist, pulling me closer, his fingers squeezing gently. My lips ached from the fervor of our kiss.He cupped my face, and that was when I began to kiss him back. But deep down, I realized it was all for him. So I let him lead.He pulled back, his gaze fixed on mine. “You're mine, Shimma. I won’t share you with anyone. If anyone tries to take you from me, I’ll rip them to pieces.” His words stunned me, leaving me breathless. Why would he say that so suddenly? The intensity in his voice made it clear he meant every word.MR. MATTIASI acted on impulse. My emotions had gotten the best of me, but why do I feel this way?“Are you okay?” Shimma’s voice broke

I picked up the phone as the name on the screen made me gasp….I picked up the phone. Waiting to hear the bastard's voice. And at the same time, wondering why he called.“Hello, Sh—Shimma,” Blake said. I can't believe I have totally forgotten about this jerk.“What is it Blake?“ I asked.“Uhmm, it's been a while. I haven't heard from you for almost a week now,”“And how is that supposed to be your problem?” I asked.“You're still mad at me. Shimma, I already said I'm sorry,”“Look, Blake, this should be the last time you call me, in fact, you know what? I guess it's high time I block your number, maybe that way you wouldn't have the audacity to call my number again. Fool!““Sh—Shimma, please, give me a chance, please I just…,” I didn't let him finish, I hung up the call.“I guess he is sorry,” I jerked in fear, turning to see my mother leaning by the door. This woman can be creepy at times.“Mum, you scared me. And what did you just say?“ I drew my brows together.“I said, I guess he

SHIMMA.A loud yawn escaped from my lips as I stretched my hands and legs.I turned to glance at the wall clock, a loud gasp escaped my mouth as my eyes flew open in shock. It was fifteen minutes past eight. And I was meant to be at work by eight. Shit!I quickly jumped off the bed as I rushed my way into the bathroom.I was in a hurry and I couldn't have breakfast. I got outside, realizing I had left my car at the office yesterday.I stared at my wrist watch. It was already a few minutes to nine. This was useless. Going to work today would be useless. Mr Mattias might get angry at me for showing up to work late on my second day. Or he might not. I don't know, I just feel it's wrong.I barely slept last night. Due to the incident with my father last night. Speaking of my father.I turned to where he usually parked his car. It wasn't there, he must have left earlier. I didn't even get to see him. And now I have to wait to he is back.Today was already starting to get fucked up. And goi

SHIMMAI sat on my bed, arms folded tightly across my chest, feeling the familiar knot of frustration. I hated this for my mother. Even after I had told her I didn’t want to see Blake, she still called him.“Knock, knock.”“Shimma, what is wrong with you? Why did you leave?” My mother’s tone was a mix of concern and irritation.“I told you not to bring him here! Why do you always try to make my decisions for me? He dumped me! And you expect me to forgive him? This is bullshit!” My voice rose, anger bubbling over as I struggled to contain it.“It’s not about forgiveness. I just want you both to talk. Who knows? You might end up—”“End up what?” I cut her off, my pulse quickening. I stood up from the bed, urgency driving me to the door. I needed to see her face, to understand what she was thinking.I flung the door open, and there stood Blake, wearing a pitying expression that only fueled my anger.“Shimma, you’re seriously taking this the wrong way.” “I wouldn’t be reacting this way

MR MATTIAS'S POV.“What just happened? Why did Blake say you're not just an uncle to Shimma? What does he mean by that? Talk to me, what is going on?“I ran my hand through my hair. Ignoring Mrs Anna's question. I don't know, I just always let my emotions get the best of me. I wouldn't have punched him. Yes he needed to be dealt with but not inside here, not in front of Shimma.“Mattias, I'm talking to you,” Mrs Anna muttered, this time I couldn't ignore, I turned to face her.“Mrs Anna, you shouldn't mind that son of a bitch, you know how much I love and care for Shimma. I wouldn't watch anyone try to hurt her or mess with her. That boy is no good for her, she deserves better, and you know it,” I said, Mrs Anna sighed, resting her back against the wall.“You're right Mattias, I messed up, I wouldn't have, but I acted out of my selfish interest. I love how they were, o loved seeing them together, I love seeing Shimma come back everyday with a wide grin, telling me how her day went wit
