Lahat ng Kabanata ng Sold To The Alpha, He Hates Me : Kabanata 31 - Kabanata 40

JARED"So, you are yet to find her?" I looked up at Raul who was standing in front of me, a kind of remorseful look on his face.Sighing, I bit my lip - hard. "You know she is pregnant, right?""I'm sorry.""You are sorry? What are you doing, gamma. Are we this weak? We can't even find just one girl. Just one.""I'm sorry." He bowed, remorse laced in his voice, but I don't care. All I want is my Avery back. Knowing that she is out there alone, and probably without shelter makes my heart ache so much.I just can't seem to find her no matter how I try. I had even gone out to search for her myself but there was nothing. Even her friend here, who we eventually found out said she had no idea where she went too even though she helped her. It's like she disappeared into thin air.I was about sending Raul off when the door burst open and Mavis rushed in. "Alpha!" He showed me his phone and my eyes widened when I saw Avery's picture there."What's this?" I asked, my eyes not leaving the pictu

JAREDWhen I met with Drew, and calmly asked him to let Avery come with me, also saying that Avery herself, refused to go with me, but I didn't believe. I decided to see her and it was true. She didn't want to go with me and it seemed she felt uncomfortable around me. I didn't like it and I would change it. I don't mind coming here everyday to do so.When I got back to the pack house, I was met with Mavis who was all smiles. I asked him the reason for the smiles and he told me that the Silverbead Pack agreed to form a deal with us. But the disappointing thing was that he also agreed to form a deal with The Black Moon Pack tooI heard he was all considerate, but I never expected it to be to this extent. How could he collaborate with the two packs knowing our situation? But on a second thought, it was better than nothing. None of our packs surpassed the other.I still wasn't satisfied. If I was higher than Drew and was a member of the werewolf community council as a whole, I wouldn't ne

AVERY "Then can I be your mate?"I stilled at Alpha Drew's question, my eyes not leaving him.He suddenly chuckled. "It's a joke,""Are you sure?" I asked, cause his expression while saying that felt real and had no ounce of humor in them. His reply made it more confusing."What do you think?" He asked and my brows creased. What exactly is he thinking in his head?We wrapped up our lunch and he saw me off to my room."Go in now and rest well." He said as we got to my room. I nodded, muttering a thank you before going in, still confused from the conversation we had while we ate. I don't know why, but I feel like Alpha Drew acts strange sometimes. I know he is nice and caring, but I feel like he wants something more. He is also against me going back to Alpha Jared.Thinking about Alpha Jared, the scene of how he kissed my forehead at the library popped up in my head and a blush creeped to my cheeks. I took my fingers to my forehead, caressing it. Why does the kiss feel nice and also st

1JAREDAs I left Drew's pack house, I repeatedly tried calling my dad but he did answer. It was Mavis who actually called the other time. He called to inform me of my dad's plan to prepare for some shitty coronation for Lisa. I needed to talk him out of it and calling him was the only way I could get through to him since he blocked me from mindlinking him. The only option was to get to the pack, but it will take quite some time. After a grueling three hour drive which felt like eternity, I finally arrived at the pack house."Alpha." The guards, acknowledged my presence with a bow but I brushed past them, storming off to my father's suite. My brows furrowed when I got there, to see him lounging in his chair while sipping wine. Right. He is surely relaxed after giving that stupid order. His gaze shifted to me. "Why are you here?""What do you think?" I cocked my head to the side briefly. "Why did you order for some shitty coronation?"His response was infuriatingly calm "Why acting li

AVERYAfter returning to my room, I was surprised by the arrival of two guards, who brought in a fridge, with a maid trailing behind them with a bag in her hand."What's all this?" I asked, confusion etched on my face as the guards deposited the fridge at a corner before they turned to me."It's from the Alpha. We will take our leave now." They said and walked out before I could say another word."I really don't understand?" I told the maid who just smiled and walked to the fridge where she began stocking it up."The Alpha asked that we bring this to you considering your late-night visit to the kitchen because you were hungry. He says you should make use of this next time.""Oh – "I trailed off, not knowing what to say. Alpha Drew - he is so attentive and caring, and I don't seem to understand why. Is this his nature or... I don't even know. He is just the best. From saving me at the woods to accepting me at the pack with a lot of care being advanced towards me.My eyes was starting t
