Lahat ng Kabanata ng A Deal With The Notorious Biker : Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

LilyI woke up to find the spot next to me empty and neat. After our little argument with Ryker last night, he picked up the blanket and went straight to the couch. I know he hated my guts, I hated his too. He thinks because we are into the fake marriage stuff, he'd control me. I don't care how he thinks and don't give a damn about anyone. If someone disrespects me, I stand up for myself. It doesn't matter who that person was. Ryker included. I showered, dressed into a normal top and jeans, blow-dried my hair, and made some touches to my face before taking off downstairs. The family were already eating breakfast. They all looked as if they were happy being there when I knew deep down they hated being in the same space. Marcus and Ryker to be precise. They were both keeping on a fake facade. "Good morning Father." I greeted softly as I slid in next to Ryker. I intentionally pressed my hand into his and leaned. "Why didn't you wake me up?" I said enough for everyone to hear.Ryker look

LilyOver a couple of days, Ryker and I had gone back to our usual banter. We fight on every little thing. Who gets to the room first will be the one to sleep on the bed that day. I didn't know how we came to that rule but it was the day before yesterday when Ryker entered the room and found me in bed with papers and laptop scattered around. I used to underestimate the manager position that I was given because I didn't work that much. But the charity event was happening in two days that was then and now it was happening the next day. I had been tasked with the responsibility of managing everything and making sure their rides were all in check. That was how Ryker got the idea of setting the rules. We argued and out of anger, I agreed. Now I was trying my best to return home so I would dominate the bed to myself. And that was exactly what happened. I escaped from the office when Ryker was out. I didn’t care about the consequences. I just needed to have the bed all by myself.I heard the

RykerThere's one thing I noticed about Lily. Her behavior doesn't match who she is. She always does things recklessly. Fight with anyone who gets on her nerves and find it normal. The very mistake I made right from the start was not doing my research first before getting into the contract with her. I know I needed to pass through Hilda and Marcus's betrayal which was why I rushed into things. Lily isn't my type. I want a woman that is pretty and has a nice body. And a good sense of reasoning. Lily doesn't tick the boxes. Maybe she ticked one. She has a lovely hair. And a nice smile.Wait....How did I get here? I only saw her smile twice. Funny enough, it was when she was sleeping. Maybe she was having a nice dream. I could see the way her cheeks flushed last night when I caged her in between my arms. I knew then that I had affected her. The spitfire Lily was muted in my cage. I found myself chuckling recalling how she went over to my desk instead of her desk. The empty stool next t

Ryker"Ah!" A wince left Lily's lips when I applied the ointment to the cut on her arm. I couldn't resist shaking my head with a light smile. "You do know you're overreacting right?" I said."I'm hurt as you can see. There's blood." she snapped pointing at her arm with a deep frown. That made her look like a child whining. I don't blame her. Blood is a sensitive liquid."But still. It's just a small cut. Nothing to cry over." I covered with spot with a plaster. Lily pulled her hand away. "I'm not crying." I closed off the lid of the first aid kit and took it back to its stop. I always make sure the first aid kit is up to date. "There's something called thank you, you know," I said returning my focus to her. Lily rolled her eyes and spared her arm a look before she muttered. "Thanks." I heard it but decided to play deaf to her words. "I didn't get you?" "I'm sure you have ears you heard what I said." I took a step towards her. Giving a reasonable space between us. "I have but I didn

Ryker15th October. This day is unforgettable in my life. It is a day I tend to feel all the weight of the world pressed onto me. My mother's death anniversary. I always buried myself with work so the day would move faster. So that I won't think about how much loneliness I felt whenever I remember she was no more. As usual, the family visits her grave. It was my father and I before. But since Marcus and his mother came into the family, we all visit together. It had become a tradition. I respect father for remembering his late wife despite how he pisses me off sometimes. It showed his wife is still in his heart. However, things were different now. Lily and Hilda tagged along. Lily had no idea where we were going. I only told her to wear formal black outfits we would be going out with the family. I could feel her gaze on me as we arrived at the cemetery. I know she’d attack me later on.The truth of the matter was, that whenever it's a day to the death anniversary, I tend to be curled
