Julian's povI could feel it in my guts, something bad would happen to me today. The feeling was so strong that I even began to get nervous. What the fuck was happening?Could it be Kim? Was she going to send someone to come hurt me or what? I shook my head, knowing she didn't have the mind to do that. So, what could be the problem? Wait, what about Alex? My goodness, I saw a car parked in front of the hotel and it drove off the moment I set my eyes on it. I got out of bed, and I went to take my bath. I wore the bullet proof vest I bought, placing a baggy hoodie on it. I wore the pants too, brushing my hair. I had some chats with the security guards, and told them everywhere has to be tight after paying them more money. Even after doing that, I wasn't still comfortable so I decided to leave the hotel for some time. I know that wasn't a safe option either, but I just had to go.Covering my head with my hoodie, I walked in the street with my ear pods, listening to soft music but I w

Caught in the act

Ava's povI still couldn't wrap my head around what Julian told me. It seemed like a dream to me, I was once married to both of them. Like, that was fucking crazy. How the hell did all that happen? Alex knew what he was doing. I believed this was just his form of revenge to get back at me. He didn't even love me for goodness sake. "I love you so much, Ava. I'm sorry for everything once again, and I'm sorry you are carrying his baby," Julian apologized, he had tears in his eyes. I was crying too. The worst part was the baby I was carrying. Yes, I loved the fact that I was expecting a child but the father was a fucking monster. And to think Aiden was me and Julian's child. I was sure Alex had threatened the kids not to mention anything like that to me. No wonder why the bond I had towards him was very strong. Julian also raised Diamond before Alex stepped in and destroyed everything. I was happy the children were ours. They would be the first people I will take out of the house. "

Hatred

Alex's povI was so mad, and I needed some kind of power again. I had never felt this useless in my life. Julian turned me to this, and I swore to make his life miserable before killing him. Ava disappointed me, I was shocked when I saw the video of her and Julian together in a restaurant. After everything, I still couldn't believe she would do this to me. Definitely, she must have told him about my movements. Come to think of it, I didn't tell her or anyone where I was going so how did they know?My knee hurt like a fucking bitch, and I couldn't stand up for now. Ava would remain in the guest room until I change my mind, that was what she get for messing with me. I texted Max to come see me in my office immediately. He came after some minutes. "Hello boss, how are you doing now?" Max asked, avoiding my gaze as usual. "Are you going to tell me you don't know anything about Ava and Julian?" I asked raising a curious brow. He frowned with his mouth wide open. "I know nothing about

Daddy's back

Julian's povI sighed, calling Ava again but her number was switched off. Since the day she left, I hadn't been able to talk to her. I knew she was in some kind of trouble with Alex. It was two days already, and I would lose it soon. Or has she changed her mind? No, that wasn't possible. I went to have my bath, and I wore a black tailored pants with a white shirt. I couldn't take it anymore, I needed to find Ava. God forbid, but she could have been killed by Alex. I didn't trust that man one bit, because I knew what he was capable of doing. Putting on my sunglasses, I styled my hair in a different way. It would be hard for anyone to know it was me. I groaned when I realized I didn't know where Alex lived. The only person who can help me with his address was Kim. Damn it, I had to go to her for help. I couldn't just stay here without knowing if Ava was alright. Grabbing my car keys, I left my room and drove to where I would find Kim which was her late sister's house. They let me

Daddy's back 2

Julian's povMy heart thumped heavily in my chest, I had never been so nervous in my whole life. I didn't know the reaction, the kids would give when they see me.That alone made me nervous. I parked my car alongside others in front of their school building. "Just stay in the car, I will go get them," Max said. I raised a curious brow. "Why do you want to go alone? I should go with you, don't you think?" He shook his head, disagreeing. "We don't have to go in together. Your face is new, and the teacher would not allow you inside. They may even raise an alarm. I don't want that for us."I nodded, tapping my hands on the steering wheel impatiently when he left. After five minutes, Max walked out of the building with the children on both of his sides. Tears welled in my eyes at the sight of them . They looked more grown now, my goodness. I missed a lot in their lives, and I felt like a total failure. Max put them in the backseat. "Drive!" He yelled when they all entered. I drove off

Freedom

Ava's pov"What is this thing you just poured on me , Ava? What the fuck is wrong with you?" Alex demanded, his eyes blazing in anger as he wiped it off his face with his clothes. I chuckled, the water was from aloe vera and I used it for my hair. I wish I just had acid or something. I would have poured it on him without hesitation."That's what you get for locking me here. Are you crazy, Alex? How cruel can you be? Just because I went to see Julian, and so. Do you know if I wanted to help you catch him? Think with your brain, dude," I said, rolling my eyes. His eyes widened, and he moved closer to me. "You want to help me catch him? Is that a joke or what?" He asked in disbelief. "I saw him on my way to pick the kids. He insisted we should be friends and all that. I had to play along so that you would get him, and do whatever you want with him," I lied, hoping he would buy it. Alex shook his head. "I don't believe you. I just came to check up on you, and see how you are doing. I'

At last

Alex's povI almost lost my mind when I found out the kids has gone missing. I couldn't even think of who could do this to me. I accept everything, but messing with the kids was extreme. Ava's reaction to it made me feel guilty. I felt like a loser because she warned me about it a day before it happened. I got the school authorities arrested, but the police men released them after three hours. They said I had no reason whatever to keep them in prison, because the kids volunteered to follow the stranger that came to pick them. How could the kids do this to me? Who did they follow? What sort of madness was this? I was almost losing my mind. I searched for them everywhere I thought they would be, but I didn't find them there. I had no idea on what to do anymore. I was fucking disturbed, and I didn't know when I started crying in the car. What would be my stress after everything? Losing two children on a day was unbelievable. Was this a way to pay for my sins? I wondered if it was Go

Family

Julian's pov We finally archived our aim today. I kicked Alex to the side of the room. "Let's go, Julian. We have to go before something happens," Ava whispered, dragging my hand. I wanted to burn down the house before, but I decided against it when Ava told me to leave. I would be back soon to complete the mission. I wasn't sure if Alex was really dead, but it was something. I didn't plan to kill him today, the plan was to take Ava out of his house, and come back later for a revenge plan. I kept my gun in my pocket, grabbing Ava's hand protectively. Luckily, on our way out there was nobody to stop us. "Thank goodness, thank you babe," Ava whispered when we finally entered the car. She placed her head on my chest, and I stroked her hair. The ride to the hotel was quiet, long and pleasuring. I finally felt at peace for what just happened. I hired a driver, and the old man knew how to do his job. A smile crept to my face, my woman was finally here with me. What else did I

Ava's povJulian went to have a conversation with Max which made me a little worried. I thought about what could have happened that Max wanted to see him privately, and not in front of everyone. My son smiled brightly as he ate more of his pancakes. He loved pancakes, and I made him love it. I remembered everything now, everything that happened in the past. It all came when Julian, and Alex pointed gun at each other. Although, I know the truth already but it felt so different when I could remember. I was happy to carry this baby, but not anymore. After all Alex has done to us, why should I still want to carry his child? That was so crazy, and annoying but I had no choice. Julian already promised to love the baby like his, so it was fine. "Are we going to school, mommy?" Aiden asked with a pout. "Just what I wanted to ask. We haven't been in school for three days, and I miss my friends," Diamond muttered with sadness written all over her face. I smiled, placing my hands on the ta

Alex's povOpening my eyes slowly, but shutting it back due to the bright light that shined into my eyes. Should I talk about the sharp pain I felt in my head?My head was hurting like someone was hitting something on my head continuously. What had I done to deserve this punishment? I managed to open my eyes again, and I met with a young woman's face. She looked at me with so much worry on her face. It made me wonder where she knew me from, and why she cared about me this way. A whole me, Alexander! The merciless man. I flinched when she touched my arm, and she apologized. "I'm sorry for touching you without your permission. I'm so sorry."Sitting up as groans of pain escaped my lips. "It's fine. Please, who are you? And where is this? How did I find myself here or how did you find me?" I asked, raising a curious brow. As I waited for her answer, I looked down to see bondage wrapped around my stomach to my waist. The place hurt when I touched it. "My brother works for you. He brou
