Ondina It's been three days and Ondina hasn't heard from Camille. Maybe she's been really busy. I'll call anyway. Pulling her phone out, she dialed Camies number. Straight to voicemail? That's was unlike her to let her phone die. Camille was someone who couldn't function without her phone and with her being an actress, she needed to be available in case she gets offered any more rolls. Ondina sat on the bed feeling anxious. "What's troubling you, little flower?" Raphael asked while planting loving kisses up and down her neck. "Camie." "Did she have a fight with Thomas?" "I don't know... I haven't heard from her since the premiere." Raphael gently brushed strands of curls from her face and pulled her to face him. "I'm sure she's fine. Maybe she's staying in and keeping from the press. They released her show a few hours after the premiere, she's trending right now." His words only made Ondina worry more. "That's the thing raf, it's Camie! She wouldn't miss going outside to b

Raphael I swing my fist into the wall along the side of me. I was fuming with so much anger. Now that the truth of this was out, I needed to find him before the police did. Being in prison wasn’t good enough. He needed to suffer the same what he made Camille suffer, and after they? He needs to suffer again! “Calm down, Mr. Lahsen! I’m giving you this information because I thought you should know. I don’t need you doing anything crazy! I won’t be able to help you if you do.” “Detective Dickson, I am not concerned with the limitations of your assistance.” I stated dismissively. Signaling Walter over, Dickson looked at me with clear worry in his eyes. “Don’t worry, detective. No one will find out about this meeting. Thank you for your help, you can go now.” He quickly gathered his belongings along with the file, and left. “Contact Felix. I’ll meet with Thomas.” “On it.” The car ride to Thomas’s was long and hard. I could only imagine how he is gonna take this news. If it was O

Ondina After a few seconds, Ondina sat up and let out a sigh. “I’m okay mom. How long have you been here?” Her mom looker her over, worry lining her forehead. “It too long. Are the babies hungry?” Ondina nodded and followed her mother out to the kitchen. They sat on the couch and talked about her pregnancy while she ate and finished the night with movies in the theater. They repeated this for the three days Raphael was away. At the beginning, she wanted to be alone, but quickly became appreciative of both her husband and mother for making the decision for her. If she stayed alone, she probably spent the lat three days crying. It felt good to wake up and have her mom there. Growing up, she was never able to get this much of hr mother’s attention. Not even if she was sick. She usually had to deal with things on her own and that kind of isolation taught her how to cope alone. Everything was different now. She was now a woman, married and pregnant. The one person she thought sh

Raphael I nodded, agreeing as a plan began to form in my mind. "He'll need money, and he'll need a way out of the country. Let's focus on the ports, the airports, the places where he would disappear." We spent the next few hours back at a hotel we were staying. We were looking over maps, reviewing surveillance footage, and making calls to our network of contacts. We tapped into our resources. Our wealth played a big part in our plan. The influence of money can get anyone to talk. It was now dark out, and a clearer picture began to emerge. Mason had likely used a fake passport to enter Prague, and he had withdrawn a large sum of money from a local bank, using a stolen credit card. Finally after hours of digging, I found what we were looking for. He had booked a one way ticket to Vienna on a late-night train. "Vienna," Thomas said as he looked over my shoulder. A grim smile spreading across his face. "That's where we'll get him."This was the first time in months that we g

Mason Finally, I found her. There she was. Ondina. Seven months pregnant, cradling her swollen belly as if it held the world's most precious artifact. I didn't expect her to be pregnant, but it's not much of a surprise. Lahsen Enterprises needed an Heir, right? She was sitting alone in their penthouse lobby. I honestly thought it would be a lot harder than this to get to her after I killed Camille. Security here was a joke, more for show than actual protection. Raphael was slipping on his security. Ondina was my target! This bitch sullied my name with her accusations. She had told Raphael I assaulted her! She knows that's a lie! I wanted to get my hands on her, but because she married the bastard, it was impossible to get to her. That asshole had her cooped up inside playing house wife. I would have gotten to her sooner if he loosened his grip around her and let her out the house! That's why I decided taking it out on the other bitch who tried to ruin my life back then right along
