Chapter 12 [ Noah Chris ]

Olivia's POV“ Dad you don't have to come with me!! ” I groaned as I watched my Dad behind the steering wheel.“ Are you ashamed of your dad?? ” he said with a hint of hurting in his voice.“ No!! It's not that...it's just... ” I trailed.“ I just need to see an old friend that's all ” he shrugged.“ No one goes to see an old friend dressed like that!!! ” I yelled.“ What's wrong with my dressing?? ” he asked.“ Everything!!! ” He wore a black well pressed shirt tucked in similar well pressed black pants and sneakers. There was actually nothing wrong with his outfit except he unbuttoned the last two buttons exposing quite an ample amount of his well chiseled chest and tattoos. He also had on his sliver watch and a gold chain around his neck.Don't even get me started on his messy wet looking hair and rolled sleeves exposing more tattoos on his arms.Fuck is he going to seduce my school?!!“ Dad this is a bad idea. ” I signed as he pulled up at the gate.“ Don't worry Hun, Daddy's g

Chapter 14 [ Monarch of North ]

Olivia's POV I watched as my dad marched down from the podium and immediately appeared in front of Damien with a gust of cold wind trailing behind him.Now that's some vampire shit!!!“ Are you sure you are her bully?? ” Dad asked as he crooked his head to the side and stared deep at Damien's eyes.It was clearly obvious who the real bully was as she was literally shaking and sobbing silently next to Damien who was trying hard to keep up with the chilly pressure my dad excluded.“ Huh, brave kid. Standing up for your woman.” Dad sighed as he ran his hand through his hair.“ Arghhhhhhhh!!! I should stop. Can't be bully kids now can I ?? ” he laughed as he turned to leave.“ But the next time you or your bitch come near my daughter, I will kill you I promise you that ” He growled as the air got thicker and I swore my armrest had a thin layer of ice spreading.Who the hell are you Dad???Walking back to the podium, he tapped the mic again as it echoed throughout the extremely silent a

Chapter 15 [ Monarch of the North 2]

Olivia's POV.Monarch of the North?!?What the fuck is that??“ How does she know that name?? ” Penny asked as she turned to Dad who shrugged as he had a surprised look.“ What the hell did she just call you Dad ??” I grabbed his collar hard and whispered harshly.“ I don't know ” he shrugged again.“ Lies !!” I snapped“ I'm sorry if I stepped out of place, I heard about you from my father ” she whispered “ Who is your father?? ” Dad asked as he raised his brows.“ Carson Meyers ” She whispered.“ YOUR FATHER IS CARSON??? ” he blurted out in shock.“ Figures ” Penny rolled her eyes with a smile.“Okay y'all I'm lost ” I frowned.“ C'mon why don't we leave these two to sort things out, I'll tell you the whole story ” Penny said as she gave me a smile.“ Sure thing ”We took off for a bit till I remembered I was forgetting something.More like someone.“ C'mere you ” I snapped as I grapped Sophie's backpack and dragged her along.“ Hey...hey...nooo...nooooo, I was gonna confess!!!!”

Chapter 16 [ Monarch of the North 3]

Olivia's POV.In the course of the discussion, I ran out of fries and had to order for more.Guess I should have done the same things Sophie did.As soon as my fresh fries came in, Penny continued. “... After wiping an entire clan and blaming it on Noah, the heads of packs decided that Noah could not be controlled anymore and they immediately officiated the duel. It was a large fight which had almost all the continent gathered around as they expected to see an epic battle as their strongest Alpha destroys the so-called Intruder. It was held at the Grand land at the center of the continent...”“ The Grand land??? ” Sophie asked.“ It's a large depression at the center of the continent with a lot of rill erosion occurring at the sides, making it the perfect spot for duels. You would know this information if you took your geography classes more seriously ” I said as I rolled my eyes.“ Fuck off my back nerd ” she rolled her eyes.“ Well on the appointed day, the Grand land was filled t

Chapter 17 [ Fixing Loose Ends]

Olivia's POV I stared at Penny dragging Sophie who was still dazed after the little stunt which Dad pulled.“ We should go home, Cupcake ” he smiled as he patted my head.“ Don't treat me like a child, I'll be graduating from highschool in less than a week ” I pouted as I pulled his hand off my head.“ And I don't care ” he smirked.Typical Dad.“ How about we just buy dinner here, to free Parker the stress of cooking...” I suggested “ Hol'up...” He said as he went through his wallet. After confirming he had just enough to spend on dinner, I ordered a list of food which barely fitted into one paper bag.“ Way to go spending my money ” Dad grumbled a bit.“ You mean my money ” I scoffed.“ How is my money, your money?!? ”“ You are gonna die and leave it all to me someday ” I shrugged. He paused and stared at me with a look of shock in his eyes before he broke into laughter.“ Damn, you've got quite a sharp mouth on you ” he chuckled.“ Guess I learnt from the best ” I winked.“ Cre

Chapter 18 [ Moving On...?]

TWO YEARS LATEROlivia's POV “ Hurry up and put up the sign!!! ” I yelled with excitement.Today was the grand opening of the Greyridge bar, a project which was carefully planned and well executed by our pack. It's been two years since I graduated from highschool and I've tried living the best life we could afford.Going to college was off the list as we didn't have enough money to even support the pack as Dad kept letting in rouges and deserters from other packs into our pack and we kept growing in number. The ever increasing number of pack members drained our finances quickly and we had to find a steady source of income. Many worked two jobs a day to bring in revenue and Dad surprisingly also had a lumbering job. According to him a man as handsome as he was is not meant to work with ladies.I totally agree on that, I can't have angry mates storming into our pack house with claims of Dad flirting with their wives. While he was out there sawing pine trees, I decided to open a bar. I

Chapter 19 [ Opening Night ]

Olivia's POV “ Damian Klaus...” Sophie said in shock.“ Yeah...” He smiled.“ What exactly are you doing here?? ” Sophie retorted as she raised an eyebrow.“ I heard that the Greyridge are opening a killer bar so I came over to check it out and so far I haven't been disappointed ” he smiled.Shit that's smile!!!!!Hang in there fragile heart of mine!!!“ Huh... I didn't know you were a fan of drinks.” Sophie said with a skeptical look.“ Wanna hold a drinking competition to find out.” He smirked as his eyes had a glint.Sophie moved back in shock as she was also affect by this insane charisma.“ Don't you dare, my heart belongs to Mr Chris.” she rolled her eyes as she marched up to the bar.“ How have you been? ” he asked with a smile as he offered me his arm.Hol'up...Is he talking to me?!?!?Oh God!!!“ I... I'm good, I've been good I guess ” I smiled trying my best not to stutter as I slid my arm into his.“I must say you look stunning tonight ” he added.Ohhhhhhhh gosssssh!!!I

Chapter 20 [ The TV and the News]

Olivia's POV.It's been over a year since we launched the Grey Ridge bar and so far it hasn't been a disappointment.Every month we were able to draw in more than $15,000 and to an extreme of $150,000 when an Alpha from the west came to town and decided to come spend in our bar.I was able to learn a lot of bartending skills from Louis as I joined him behind the bar while Cole worked morning shifts as she was better at making coffees and lattes. Together, we were the strong pillars that supported the Bar. It wasn't long that we gathered a lot of regulars who would show up every day and night to get a refill.Since the opening night, I barely saw and heard anything from Damien except for the few times I would see him on TV.Apparently, the Ember Den was a large pack with a lot of businesses and he was soon to represent his pack as Alpha. With that every once in a while he would appear on the news making a deal with one or two famous Alphas in the continent.“ Hey Olivia I saw your ma

Chapter 21 [ Rainy Drinks ]

Olivia's POVIt was a wonderful week which just went by as we generated more cash than the previous weeksI had gotten so good at bartending that Louis would sometimes leave the night shifts to me while he would help out Cole during the day as we noticed that we had more morning regulars than night. Today I was alone at just around 1AM because Louis decided to call it a night. He dropped some necessary instructions as he went off to bed in order to wake up early to help out Cole with the morning shifts. There were just a handful of customers at that time as they say just away from me each engaged in small talks and stroking their glass of drinks as they took gentle sips.Due to how late and rainy it was, these were the all nighters who barely had anything to do than drink through the cold night rather than stay home.“ I'd like another glass of Butterscotch Martini.” someone called out.“ Coming right up ” I replied as I turned and poured a bottle of vodka and butterscotch schnapps
