Will stood outside Brenda’s home for a while. He rang the bell one more time, hoping someone was home. He would feel disappointed if no one answered, especially since he knew Brenda was so obsessed with him. He had never felt so loved, more than when his wife had iced him out when she was alive. He was about to ring the bell again when Brenda’s sleepy face and voice greeted him. “Mum, someone’s at the door, but I’ll get it, okay!” she said, not wanting her parents to stress themselves. But she was wrong, as her mother’s voice rang through the house. “Who is it, dear? I was about to come down and check!” Brenda was too stunned to answer, her eyes growing wide as she saw Will standing in her home. “Brenda, is anyone there?” her mother called, snapping her back to reality. “Oh no, Mother, it’s nobody!” Will smirked, standing confidently. Brenda, ran right out of bed, with the mindset to get to work no matter the time, was dressed in a short skirt with a floral-print long-sleeve top.“Oh my goodness, I might as well get myself out of this house whichever way!”Brenda said to herself as she made her way down the stairs. “And where do you think you’re heading to?”“To work, of course. I have a job, remember?” Brenda said to her mom, obviously getting disturbed and angrier by the minute.“Oh, don’t you roll your eyes at me, young girl. Well, I just wanted to tell you the other room is leaking badly, and we need to call someone to fix it for us!”Brenda sighed, feeling the rush of frustration wash over her. She pulled out her phone to check how much of the money Will had given her was left. She had barely anything, and the end of the month was still far away. “You know what, Mom? I thought you went on a date without telling me?”“Wait, how did you know? I never said anything about going on a date.”“Just forget about that, Hardy, and tell me how it went!”“Uh, it was fine. You know, I really think there’s a connection between the two of us, and I want to explore it further!”“Really, man? That would be amazing! I can’t wait to see you finally settle down for real!”“Ha! That’s so funny. What are you trying to say?”“Well, Har

Come on, let’s get going!” Jane said to Brenda as they stood up to leave. The rest of Brenda’s weekend went by slowly, her mind in constant turmoil as she waited for the new week to come.Hardy felt disappointed that Brenda refused to accompany him to the party, which made it quite boring as he had to go alone. The red carpet was full of clicking sounds as cameras snapped continuous pictures of him.He stood and allowed them to take as many pictures as they wanted before making his way into the hall, determined to avoid too much conversation.“Hi, aren’t you Hardy?” an older lady called out to him. Turning around to face her, Hardy replied, “Hello!” but struggled to remem
