Alexander's POV:Looking around for my son Zack has been stressful. All my boys and men are around the house, thinking about where he could be. You see, I lost my daughter when she was 5, and we have been looking for her for a long time now. I honestly gave up, as did some of my sons, except for Zack and Ryan. However, my other sons moved on, saying their sister was dead. I have 5 sons, which is a lot to handle."Dad, we found Zack's tracker," my first son Leo called out to me. We all gathered around him and found the location. It was just 8 hours away from where we stayed. Telling Leo to get more guns and get the cars started, and with that, we all went out.I can't afford to lose another child.8 hours later, we gathered at this old house. It was really ugly and looked like some parts were falling off."What a dump," my second son Mike said, making his brothers laugh a little. Shaking my head at them, I pointed towards the entrance of the building and gave my men my hand move, makin

Elizabeth's POV:It's been a month since I have lived in this house, and I have finally gotten used to the environment.Dad didn't let me go outside, though, saying everything I needed was in the house. Sometimes I was left with only Levi and Leo; the others had school, and Mike had a hospital he owned. He did a check-up on me once because of my limping and how tiny I was looking. Turns out some of my ribs got broken, and some of the scars were infected. He gave me some pills and a breakfast schedule. But I just loved the attention I was getting from them. Also, my classes went well with Levi; he taught me how to write and spell, which was hard at first but I got used to it. On Friday, Dad bought me a phone and told me to start my online classes. Zack set up everything I needed on it and downloaded a lot of music for me. Also, my therapy sessions have been going smoothly. Mrs. Brown, an Asian lady, has taken care of me well. It was hard at first, but I later got used to it.Everything

Elizabeth's POV:After dropping off Ryan at his school, I and Zack sat in the car. Turns out Zack can drive, which was kinda surprising to me."Don't worry. When we get to school, just stay close to me. A lot of people will look at us, but pay no attention to them. Also, school isn't a happy place. Some people will try to say rude things to you, but just come to me when they do, okay?" Zack says while his eyes stayed on the road."You don't have to explain all this, Zacky. Levi already told me, and from the books I read on Wattpad, I know how high school works," I said to him. With a nod, he let out a breath before saying, "I have some friends at school. Like, we are 5. You're gonna love them, except Austin; he doesn't like people," he says.Nodding my head, I gave him a thumbs-up before looking ahead."REDWOODS HIGH SCHOOL," I mumbled, looking at the school building."Wow," I whispered. I had no idea it would be this big. You could see some students around their cars, some laughing,

Elizabeth's POV:When science finally ended, the feeling of relief washed over me. It wasn’t that the class was particularly hard, but my mind had drifted off a few times, making it seem longer than it was. The bell rang, and Anna and I exchanged smiles as we packed up our books. “So, can I have your number?” I asked her, casually slipping my phone out of my pocket. Her eyes widened slightly, but she nodded, a shy smile tugging at her lips. We exchanged numbers, and I felt a little lighter knowing that I had officially made a friend today. It wasn’t much, but it was a start. It felt good to have someone I could talk to outside of Zack and his friends. I made a mental note to text her later, just to see if she made it home okay. The hallways were crowded as usual, a rush of students pushing their way out of the school. I didn’t mind, though. It was the same every day—people eager to get home, escape the day, or meet up with friends for whatever plans they had. I felt my phone buzz in

Elizabeth POV:It's been two weeks now, and I was enjoying school. Anna and I have gotten close together, and we finished our book. As for the boys, I and Teo also got close; I saw him as an older brother. For Mikey and James, we did talk once in a while. James did try to flirt with me, which got Zack angry, but I laughed so hard I almost fainted. My therapy session was going well too; Mrs. Brown was surprised when I finally spoke to her. Then there's Austin, who was confusing, to be honest. Sometimes he could look at me and just walk away. We haven't had a conversation before, though, but I was hoping one day we could.Today was a sports tryout in school, and I was applying for basketball. My brothers have been teaching me a lot of basketball moves, and I suddenly fell in love with it."What's your name?" a black lady with funny hair asked me."Elizabeth, Elizabeth King's," I said to her quietly. She made a "hmm" sound before giving me a paper. With that, I walked away, still looking
