Chapter 1: The dungeon

A groan left my mouth as I stumbled forward due to a force on my back and the plate in my hand shattered into pieces as it collided with the floor, the sound echoed through the hall.“ bitch, you're so clumsy” I heard her curse behind me before stepping over me, acting as if she wasn’t the one who just pushed me.I remained on the cold dark floor, gaze fixed on the pieces of the broken plate that can’t be fixed.Tears welled in my eyes. I tried to fight them back but here isn’t a place to try and be strong or weak. I’ve been here for a month now and it’s been hell on earth. I know better than anyone what my fatewill be in this dinner hall.I gulped hard and placed my left hand over my famished tummy and my intestines didn’t disappoint. They churned.Dinner time is what everyone looks up to with each passing day. It’s the only time you can fill your stomach with food.“ hey,” I look up to see a familiar face staring at me. I may not know her name but I’ve seen her around a couple of t

Chapter 2: Revelation

Last night, I went to bed, thinking about what Jennifer told me. I sit on the floor and glance over the room. I can’t help but wonder how these girls sleep in this place that is filled with bugs and rodents. My skin itchs as hell. I scratch my arm and moan softly at the feeling. The time should be between 4 am and 5 am right now and within a couple of hours, the normal routine will continue again.I am not looking forward to meeting a new face today. I don’t want to and that brings me to what Jennifer told me last night. If truly all of us here were sold, who would dare sell me to these people? I am just an only child with few friends from college. My friends' parents are rich, so they have no reason to sell me. Same goes with my fiancé, Zane. He runs his father's jewelry business and he is rich as well.My mom wouldn’t sell me either, she is married to a rich man as well.I sigh softly and rub my forehead with my fingers. Nothing makes sense to me anymore. I am going crazy.I heard t

Chapter 3: Escape

“Goodness, Ava, you are alive!”I turned my head and saw Jennifer’s eyes glowing, she had a smile on her face and I immediately sat up. I looked around and noticed I was back in our room. I turn to Jennifer, seeking answers but she only tosses a dress at me. I wore it and followed her out of the room.“ why am I not dead yet?” My voice cracked as we walked down the hallway that consisted of different rooms. There is sunlight at the end of the hallway, signifying an exit. I can still feel the burning sensation between my thighs. A hiss leaves my mouth and my eyes gleamed with tears.“ Because it’s not yet time.” She answered with a straight face.“ why did you do that?” I halted in my steps and that feeling of betrayal washed over me.“ I didn’t do it. The blonde did.” She answered and kept walking. I spread my thighs and continued walking, trying to catch up with her pace.“ She once hid Terrific’s handset under my mat. I went through the same hell you went through. She is fond of imp

Chapter 4: Sold

“RUN AVA!” An adrenaline rush through me as I took to my heels. Dashing through the bush barefooted.“ No! This way!” Jennifer screamed and I ran after her in the direction she pointed.I groan as I stumble over. I got up and kept running, following Jennifer’s lead.I panted heavily and kept running. My legs wobbled but I kept going. I have to escape. I have to survive. Not just for me but for my freedom, for Leah, and Jennifer.“ come on, Ava. There is an express-way ahead of us!” Jennifer's voice fell on my ear and energy from nowhere entered my body. I can't give up now. Not now that I am close to escaping this hell. Even if my body is ready to give up, I am not.I join Jennifer at the express-way and I place my hands on my knees while trying to catch my breath. My legs sting so bad but they are the last thing I care about right now. The sting won't kill me except the bleeding increases.“ What now, Jennifer? There is no car on this road. Fuck!” I lamented but she gripped my hand a

Chapter 5: Die trying to escape

The car pulled up outside a grey mansion built with planks. Although it was dark, the lights on the pouch told me it was a simple house, probably about two bedrooms or less. The passenger door opened. I stepped out and I was welcomed by a very chilling night breeze that made me close my eyes for minutes. It's been forever since I experienced the night breeze. After having my fill, I turned and saw the man who had just bought me walking towards the home entrance. Suddenly, my lips pressed together and my hands curled into fists by my side. My teeth grind against each other and I could feel a bead of sweat forming on my forehead. " Stop right there!" I yelled and stumped forward. I stood in front of him and looked him in the eyes. He was unfazed, poised, and intimidating and I felt like a rat beside him. His golden eyes had no glow in them, they were cold as the eyes of frozen fishes. " Who are you?" I asked, my voice cracking as a result of submission to his presence and I hated i

Chapter 6: What are you, Ava?

I held my head up and forced a big lump down my throat. Fuck! He looked damn hot and irresistible. I remained rooted to my position, my gaze fixed on his bare hairy chest and I felt the urge to place my head on it and curl the hair with my fingers. No. I shouldn't be having these thoughts about him. He is my enemy. The only thought that should be on my mind is how to kill him. My eyes traveled to his face and I felt his gaze on me. I immediately looked away before I could drown in them. He stepped a foot on the floor after the other and my lips pressed together, my throat sore from the sight of his manhood pointing at his belly. My inner thighs burned and my pussy inch and ache and I slowly rubbed my thighs together to get rid of the sensation. He took slow steps towards me. I wanted to take a step backward but my legs won't obey me. They suddenly had a mind of their own and I felt my chest rising and falling slowly in rhythm. He stood before me, just one movement from me, and my bo

Chapter 7: You Jest!

" The knife is poisoned," I said forcefully and he stopped in his tracks. I swore I didn't know how that sentence came out of my mouth. " You jest," he snorted and opened a door. A door I'd missed when I came in. " Come," he said and like a command, I found myself obeying. I followed him into the room which turned out to be a bathroom and my heart skipped at the thought of him drowning me in the bathtub. I stood by the side and watched him climb into the bathtub filled with water. Immediately he submerged himself inside it, the water turned red. He sat up and grabbed a towel from the towel racks and pressed it against the wound. Right in front of me, he grabbed a suturing needle out of nowhere. Stuffing a towel in his mouth, I watched as he sutured the wound like a surgeon. My stomach churned at the sight and the next thing I knew, I'd emptied my stomach in the sink. I panted and splashed water all over my face but the room was filled with the smell of blood. I turned around

Chapter 8: Gamble-punishment

Stuck here in this room for days, I’ve been waiting for Jacob to come see me once and pass his punishment but he never appeared. I am to eat bath and sleep without setting foot outside of this comfy hell hole. For the fifth time, I banged on the door, and as usual, nobody cared about my nuisances. Perhaps I should befriend one of his servants, that way I can escape through that servant.Mean while In Jacob’s study, he could hear the banging. He scrunched his nose and threw his leg over the other...“ Perhaps, it’s time for her punishment,” he mumbled, his eyes narrowing. The door opened and Ava's eyes lit up, her heart thudding slightly at the sight of Jacob’s guard.“ The boss asked me to take you,” The guard said and Ava furrowed her brows. She moved her lips but she stuttered, “ T..ake.. me? What, what do you mean by take me?”Growing impatient, the guard stepped one place into the room and Ava took a step back ‘ He isn’t planning to kill me. Is he?’ Ava couldn’t help but ask her

Chapter 9: Survival Tactics

Sweats dripped down Ava’s face to the table. She held the dice roller in her hand and shook with all the strength in her.“ lord please let me get this one right,” she mumbled, fidgeting and a wry laughter left Vincent. “ The lord doesn't work here,” he laughed again and Ava pressed her lips together, trying to calm herself down. After a long time, she rolled the dice and a loud laughter of relief left her mouth. With eyes blazing with joy, she turned and saw Salie kneeling between Jacob’s thighs with her mouth wrapped around his cock. So when she was battling for her life, he was enjoying a blow job from a whore. She turned back to her game, acting as if she didn't see them. It's not like she cared but that doesn't stop her from wanting to put a bullet into their skulls if she had one.“Don't be too happy yet girl, I've won four times. I just need to win you two more times.” Vincent reminded Ava that he still had the upper hand. He still has her worthless life in his hands.Ava drew

Chapter 10: New treasure

How long before she wakes up?” Jacob asked, standing beside the bed where Ava lay with her head bandaged with white gauze.“ An hour or more,” the doctor answered before turning to inject something into her infusion.“ Good thing you found her early. If you were another minute late, she would have been dead by now,” He added and Jacob stared at the girl lying palely on the bed.“ Stupid girl. Who told you, you can take your life?” he mumbled under his breath. He turned to the man in a white coat and instructed, “ Keep her under close monitoring. Let me know when she opens her eyes,” with that said, he turned and exited the room. His phone buzzed in his pocket and he slowly reached for it before placing it next to his ear.“ I'm at the airport Jay, will you send one of your men to come get me?” Jacob let out a deep breath at the voice of the person on the other end of the call. “ Danny will come get you,” with that said, he hung up and made his way to the back of the stairs. He place
