“Walked right into that one, didn’t you?” Velkan said as he forced Chanda through the door of his chamber and pushed her to the floor. “You couldn’t wait to be in his arms again, not minding the disrespect you will bring to me?”Chanda shakily got to her knees, and bowed before him, but she remained silent.“You dare to be wrapped up in the arms of another man, for all eyes to see? Answer me!” He exploded, sending a stool flying across the room.“Please,” She begged. “Nothing happened. Nothing at all.”“Nothing?” His voice mocked her. “First, you force your way into being my Luna, then you openly flirt with your lover and you say it’s nothing.”“He is not my lover, please.” She cried and held onto the hem of his pants.“So, you are saying you don’t know Alpha Trenton? That you let a stranger put his arm around you?”Lie, I dare you, Velkan thought as he looked down at her.Refusing to believe that Chanda was his mate, Velkan had spent the past few days finding out all he could about C

“Are you sure we won’t get caught?” Chanda tiptoed down the stairs with Mariam leading the way.“If you are quiet, we won’t.” Mariam answered. “My Luna.” she added when Chanda made a disapproving noise at her back.“I can’t believe I let you talk me into this.”“We are almost there.”“Where? It’s really dark. Can’t we light a torch or … what? what? why did you stop?” Chanda said in hushed tones when Mariam halted suddenly at the entrance to the living room.“I thought I heard something.”“We should go back. I don’t need more troubles.”“Live a little, My Luna.” Mariam peeped around the corner, before dragging Chanda across the room to open the front door. “We are free.” She ran round to the back of the house, laughing and shouting.“Why are you screaming? I thought you said to be quiet.” Chanda ran after her.“Keep up, Luna.” Mariam stopped at the back gate of the pack house. “You have got little legs.”“I do not. You are just fast.” Chanda bent to her knees and tried to catch her bre

It hurts. Every part of his body hurts. Velkan moaned in pain, as he struggled to lift his heavy body up, so he could sit against the board of the bed. His vision was blurry and his throat was dry and burning. He tried to pry his eye lids open, so he can look around where he laid. What happened? He ran his hand down the left side of his body which was covered, poorly, in bandage and the smell of burning leaves filled the air, choking him. He glanced to his right side and saw a female figure, sleeping on a chair at the far end of the room.“Urgh.” He groaned as he stretched his heavy arm over to his bedside table and knocked a teapot to the ground to get the female’s attention. The woman sprang up immediately. “Lycan, you are awake.” She exclaimed and rushed to him. “You are not supposed to sit up. Your wound is still fresh.”“Who are you?” He croaked out. “Where am I?”“You are in your chambers, My Lycan.” The woman took out a warm cloth that had been soaking in a bowl filled with

“Prayers to the moon goddess.” Mariam who had been watching from afar rushed to Chanda’s side. “What has that monster done to you?” Mariam looked horrified. “Please Luna, get up. Everyone is looking at you.”The little crowd had increased as more people came around to look at the disgraced Luna. Chanda could hear the murmurs coming from them, but she didn’t really care right now. What had happened in that room? Chanda wondered as she lay on the sand, supported by Mariam hands, almost naked with her torn dress. Her mind had not really registered on the fact that Velkan just sent her to live as a servant, because she was still stuck on what had happened between them. She remembered she had felt when he had touched her, sucked her. She had never that way before, it had been as if her body had floating away. But the strangest part was that she had wanted it. She didn’t know what it was but she had wanted Velkan to do whatever he wanted to her, in that moment. Before he had gone crazy. He

The loud knock on her little room’s creaking door was the last thing Chanda expected to hear so early in the morning. She got up from her bed and wobbled over to open it.Lupe stood, already dressed up, looking very annoyed.“Morning, Lupe.” Chanda rubbed on her eyes and looked up to the sky. It was still pitch black. “Is there a problem?”“You are to get dressed this instant.” She said coldly. “The Lycan has ordered for you to be in charge of cleaning the pack house from now on. You are to tend to all the wings in the house, the living room and the kitchen.”“What?” Chanda’s mouth opened in shock.“You heard me, Omega. Now, move. Don’t bother to shower. You can do that later. The Lycan wants you finished before the break of dawn as he doesn’t wish to see you in the house when he returns from his morning run.” She said, before turning away.“Why? Just why?” Mariam, who had been awoken by the noise, sat up on her bed, scowling.“Oh, good morning. You heard that?” Chanda shut the door an
