The sharp point of the pen pressed deeper into her skin, blood trickled down her neck. The Duke’s breath was warm against her ear, his voice was a low growl.“You’re insane, Rosetta. You’ve completely lost your mind.” Her lips curled into a bitter smile, her voice trembled with heartbreak and anger.“And it’s still more than the Moon Goddess ever gave me.”He finally shoved her away, his face twisted in disgust. She stumbled back, as she clutched her throat where the blood seeped onto her fingers.“You’re not worth the trouble,” he spat, “But don’t think I’ll let you off easy.”In a swift, brutal motion, he grabbed her arm and yanked her towards the door, she laughed bitterly, her sobs mixed with it like the sound of a sad melody. “Where are you taking me?” she demanded, her voice husky “That’s for me to know, and for you to shut up,” he hissed, dragging her along the cold corridors. Her bare feet scraped against the stone, and she nearly stumbled trying to keep up with his face.E

The cold, stale air of the dungeon was still as Eros snuck inside, his footsteps light but hurried. The fading moonlight shined on the scene before him, and his heart stopped.“Rosetta,” he called softly and knelt next to Nia’s limp form sprawled on the damp floor. Her face was pale, and dried blood stained her palms.Panic gripped him. His hands trembled as he shook her shoulders gently, then more firmly. “Rosetta. Rosetta, open your eyes!”When she didn’t respond, his mind raced, horror clawed at his chest. His eyes darted to the blood on her hand, then back to her lifeless form. Did she hurt herself? Did the Duke do this?“No, no, no,” he muttered, his voice breaking as he slid to the floor. He gathered her in his arms, her head resting on his thigh as he stroked her face.“What have I done?” He whispered, guilt crashed over him like a wave. “I failed you again…” His vision blurred with tears as the weight of his betrayal clamoured down on him.A small cough broke the silence, weak

She didn’t hesitate. Her body was already moving before her mind could process it, desperate to feel his hardened cock inside her again. She straddled him, her knees sank into the mattress on either side of his hips. Her hands rested on his broad shoulders, her nails dug into his skin as she positioned herself over him, the tip of his cock pressed against her slick entrance. “Now, bury my cock inside you, Rosetta,” he growled, his hands gripped her hips tightly enough to leave marks. She sank down slowly, inch by excruciating inch, her breath seized as he filled her completely. “Oh good goddess,” Her head fell back,, as she felt him stretch her, claiming every part of her. she finally sank deep to his balls, “Fuckkkk…..” they both let out a groan, their bodies trembled,“Move,” he commanded, his voice rough with need. Nia obeyed, and lifted herself up slightly before she slammed back down onto him, her breasts bounced with motion. Her hands slid from his shoulders to his che

***************The Duke’s boots stomped through the damp corridor as the iron gate screeched shut behind him. The shadows seemed to grow darker, the air heavier with the smell of mold and decay. His eyes narrowed, as he scanned the small cell. All he could see were rats running around, cockroaches goes into hiding, an opened cell and scattered skeletal bones.Basically, it was empty. She was gone.“Rosetta!” he roared, his voice vibrated off the stone walls. Anger coursed through his veins as he stormed back up the corridor, he was mad---mad that his brother would betray him—mad that he trusted his brother more than anyone---but he was more upset that Vivienne was right. A guard stood nearby, startled as the Duke’s towering figure appeared out of nowhere. Before he could react, the Duke grabbed him by the collar and slammed him against the cold, damp wall.“Where is she?!” the Duke snarled, his face was inches from the terrified man’s.“W-where is who, my lord?” the guard stutte

FLASHBACK: FIFTEEN MINUTES EARLIER Nia sat at the edge of the bed, her breath uneven and shallow as her mind raced. “I’m dying?” she whispered, her voice trembled. Eros draped a blanket over her naked body ,while he threw on his tunic . His green eyes were filled with a mixture of pain and regret. “Rosettta,” he said softly, “You’re suffering from crimson veil disease.” Her brows furrowed in confusion, “Crimson veil? What does that even mean? How is that even some sickness?” “It’s an inherited disease,” Eros continued, his voice was heavy. “Your mother had it. it’s why you’ve been coughing blood, why your body feels weak.” She never saw these in Rosetta’s memories, the moon goddess never said she’d live Rosetta’s life only to die of some stranger sickness she never even knew existed.
