ROSHIDAI don't even know when I fell sleep. I'd been resting on Clarissa's shoulders and then I woke up to myself on the couch. As soon as I gathered my thoughts, I searched around for my phone but I couldn't find it. Then the door opened and Clarissa walked in. “Have you seen my phone? I need to call Sophia. What should Valfred? Where is he?”How could I sleep off at a time like this? And why didn't anyone wake me up? I thought they would even wake me up when I had fallen asleep. “Roshida, relax. Everything so fine now. Sophia is here with Liam and the guard. They're doing fine.”I started heading for the door but she blocked my way. “Calm down, Roshida. Just calm down. It's going to be fine. Are you okay?” Well, I'll be okay when I see that Sophia and Liam were actuality doing fine. “Yes, Clarissa. I'm fine. Can I see them now?”She sighed and stepped out of my way, walking closely behind me. They were in Valfreds office and Sophia stood up as soon as she saw me and ran for

VALFREDAs soon as my father dismissed court and went to his office, I followed after him, shutting and locking the door behind me.Mark was also in the room and he stood to the corner silently while I settled into the silence.“Do you feel proud of yourself? Do you think what you have done is something to be proud of?”My father settled into his chair and cleared his throat.“Valfred, I can assure you that I didn't want to do what I did. Infact, it made me feel like I had failed her greatly just saying those.words to her. But I didn't have a choice. You were there, you saw what happened. You knew how much I wanted her to be innocent, how I kept asking for the guard to be brought. What was I supposed to do when the guard she brought was the one who said that she was guilty?”That was ankther thing that I had to tackle when I left this place. I mean, how could that boy say that Roshida had said those things? It was obvious that those men had found him and paid him off . That's the only

VALFREDThat's not what I'd been expecting to hear. “What do you mean? My father doesn't know about any of this. I surely didn't tell him because you didn't want me to. So how did he find out?”I won't be surprised if he still has people following me around. Over the years, I've caught him six times sending people to tail me and follow me around and I've gotten tired of complaining and telling him to.stop because he doesn't listen. As long as I wasn't going anything wrong, I didn't care if they followed me around. He leaned forward and started the car, backing out of the compound. “Thankfully, it worked out for my good because he went to the Chief and he spoke to him. I don't know what he said to them but I feel safer. I don't feel like I'm being followed or watched anymore.”My father was such a snitch. He did such a thing without even telling me. Anyways, it's not like I told him when I went there either. I just wanted Reggie to be safe and I hated the fact that he was walking a

VALFREDWe were sitting inside the house and we listened to everything that he said. “Are you willing to repeat everything that house said to me in front of the King? You obviously don't think that I will let you go free.”He stood up from the chair and kneelt down. “My Prince, please don't let me appear before the King again. He said he will kill me if I'm not saying the truth. I don't want to die, please.”I placed my hand on his shoulder. “Would you prefer me to kill you? Because if you refuse to tell my father the truth so that your Luna can go free, I will tell him the truth as I have recorded here on my phone and I will track you down and still kill you from lying against her. Do you know what you have done to her? She trusted you and believed that you will set her free. She housed you in her home and treated you like family. And how do you pay her back when she needs you the most? You lie against her.”“They said that they will kill my family! I couldn't let anything happen

ROSHIDAWhen the King said that he would give me everything back, I didn't mean that he meant that I would even be added to more titles. He was made the Minister for Trade for the whole Lycan Kingdom and it blew me away. After dinner, I went to stand by the balcony and just let the fresh air hit me. I wondered if I would ever get free from that cell again and it was starting to feel real while I was in that place. I didn't have any faith either that Valfred would find a way out for me but I wanted to keep an open mind . I felt hands wrap around me from behind and I smiled widely, knowing who would be able to do a thing like that to me. “I should have known you'd be here. I wonder what hold this place has on you.”He came to stand beside me and lean on the railing. “It’s about the peace I feel when I'm here. It just feels like the calm away from the storm. This place is like the most peaceful place in the house .”The King had to reshuffle his cabinet members and also the Elders
