Juliette had been to a lot of meetings since her split with Romero three weeks previously, she was more determined than ever to force the Leaders to change their minds and accept that women were their equals not just pretty adornments for their arms. She knew where the Don's wives and girlfriends went for their ‘Spa’ days and the restaurants and clubs they used for ‘lunching’, so she had gone to talk to them face to face. It had not been easy, at first they were resistant pretending all was well and they were happy, until two of the Council Leader's wives spoke up. They both had teenage daughters and had been given the ultimatum, their husbands had arranged for them to be married off to the highest bidder. One girl was seventeen the other eighteen, neither wanted to be married to these hateful, possessive men who would make their young lives a misery. The girls attended the local college and had been enjoying the usual teenage life of attending classes and hanging out with their frien

Luigi could not believe his luck, Romero had sent his guards every single day since she escaped him and this was the first opportunity they had. She was stood alone, gazing out to sea, lost in her thoughts and a glance along the beach told Luigi this was going to be easy. The helicopter hovered like a huge black bird of prey and he could not understand how she had not heard it until he noticed the earbuds in her ears.‘Oh, you silly girl.’He thought with a smile as he was lowered down behind her he could see she had her eyes closed too lost in the music she was listening to he grabbed her quickly placing his hand over her mouth to cut off her screams.‘No Luigi, no.’She tried to fight him, slamming her small fists into his back but the man was built like a tank, his broad back was hard with muscles making it easy for him to ignore her pathetic attempts to stop him.‘Please Luigi, don’t do this, please put me down.’She begged him, there was so much work she still had to do, these wom

She screamed at him kicking and struggling feebly it was useless she knew that his guards were well-trained puppets and she was tossed into the back of the SUV and grabbed by two other guards who held her arms and legs as it spun around and took her back to Romero. This time he was waiting for her as Mario dropped her to the floor in front of him, anger coursed through her weary body giving her the adrenaline boost she needed to jump to her feet and confront him.‘Perché ti ostini a renderti le cose così difficili, piccola tigre?’ [Why do you persist on making things so difficult for yourself little tigress?]His voice was soft as he approached her,‘Sai che non ti lascerò andare.’ [You know I am not going to let you go.]Juliette wanted to scream at him she was so sick and tired of Mafia men who only thought with their cocks, she had believed he was different and it hurt like hell to find he was not.‘Vai a farti fottere Romero, ci sono cose più importanti in gioco qui e tu che mi im

[You all have sisters, daughters and nieces, many of you have seen the violence these women face, yet you do not want to protect them? Are you really such cowards or are you thinking with your cocks? You will still get all the pussy tyou want, we will still take our prisoners and they know the score, they will also be women not girls that will be forbidden.]His hard glare had its effect the four remaining men joined their colleagues and Romero squeezed her hand,‘Grazie, ora mettiamoci al lavoro.’ [Thank you, now let’s get down to business.] For the next te

He pulled out a seat for her and she sat down beside him with a smile that did not reach her eyes,‘Ecco, lascia che ti prepari la colazione.’ [Here, let me get you some breakfast.]He said pouring her a glass of freshly squeezed orange and handing it to her, Juliette sipped the juice her stomach churning with fear when he placed a plate of delicious crispy bacon and scrambled eggs in front of her she had to stop herself from running to the bathroom to be sick. Gino could feel her fear and he longed to comfort her, none of them missed the way her hand shook as she lifted the glass to her mouth. Without thinking of how it would look he reached out and stroked a soft curl from her face and tucked it behind her ear, it was such an intimate gesture she jerked away from him and he dropped his hand,‘Mi dispiace così tanto Capo, io, io, beh, volevo solo che sapessi che siamo tutti qui per te, non permetteremo che ti facciano del male di nuovo.’ [I’m so sorry Boss, I, I, well, I just wanted y
