Lahat ng Kabanata ng Imprinted On By The Lycan King: Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

Emma’s pov “I asked, what the hell is going on here?” he asked again. “Uhm Your Majesty I am setting the table,” I said, and Ruth walked in. “Your majesty, please have a seat. Dinner will be ready shortly,” she said and then looked at me. I turned to leave the room when the Lycan King called out my name. “Emma, didn’t I tell you to rest before leaving this morning?” he asked me, and I nodded. “You did sir,” I said, and he then put his hands in his pocket. “Then why are you standing in front of me setting the table?” he asked me. I was about to answer when he took one hand out of his pocket and stopped me. “Ruth, I would like you to explain what is happening here. Why is my mate working? Why is she doing something that I pay you for?” he asked her. “It’s just that, we need a few extra hands today,” Ruth said and bowed her head down. “Oh, is that it? Couldn’t you have come to me and asked me to hire extra help? Why make my mate work? You know who she is right?” he asked her,

Logan’s pov I had my dinner and then started finishing up some work that was waiting for me. I watched as she then got a blanket and made herself comfortable on the couch. “What are you doing?” I asked her. I watched as her eyes widened and as I touched a strand of her hair. “I thought I would sleep on the couch,” she said. I could hear her heart beating like crazy. Why is she always so scared? It’s like she is always walking on eggshells around me. “I am so sorry, I just assumed that since you said I should sleep here then I would sleep on the couch,” she said. She then quickly took back the blanket she had taken from the bed. She stood straight and bowed her head to me. Why does she act like this? “No, I am asking you why you are sleeping on the couch. You should sleep on the bed,” I said, and she looked up. I watched how her eyes widened as she looked at me. She looked at me surprised and confused. I have seen that in her a lot lately. It seems like things that are

Logan’s pov “This is your card, ma’am,” the person who was helping her said. I watched as my mate took it and this huge smile spread on her face. “This is mine?” she asked me, and I nodded. “Only you know the pin, now you will be able to buy anything you want,” I said, and she smiled at this. “Thank you so much, I am so happy,” she said walking out. I don’t think she even realized that she was doing this, but she jumped around a little. That smile on her face was still much intact, and I found myself smiling. This is the first time I have seen her smile. An actual smile that reaches her eyes, one with no fear or discomfort. We found Taylor and Charles waiting for us outside. “Let’s go shopping, I can’t wait to see what you will pick out,” Taylor said dragging my mate again. “Do we have to follow them?” Charles asked me and I looked at him. “Emma will be staying with us for a few months. Situations such as this will help us understand best the kind of person she is,” I exp

Emma’s pov “It’s a good thing you are here,” Taylor said the moment we got there. “Let’s talk in my office,” The Lycan King said. Back at the restaurant, Taylor saw something on her phone and then they walked off. Did something happen that I should know? We got there and they closed the door behind us. “Okay, you should explain. She is your mate,” Taylor said and The Lycan King nodded. “There are people conspiring against you and me,” he said, and I frowned at this. “Conspiring? I just got here, and why would anyone do such a thing?” I asked them and Taylor smiled. She patted my back, “you are not a very important person,” she said. “Emma, I believe that you must have had your fair share of problems as both a rouge and an omega in that pack,” he said, and I nodded. I have had more than a fair share, but I didn’t say that. “Well, there are also other problems one must face when they become high-ranking individuals,” The Lycan King added. “I mean I understand that there are

Logan’s pov “You found nothing on her? Even before she went to Alpha Hendricks’s pack?” I asked Taylor and she nodded. “Nothing, it is as if all traces of her have been erased,” Taylor explained. Erased? Why would all traces of her be erased? Something tells me that she wasn’t born a rouge. Even if she was a rouge, they still have records of their existence, but she doesn’t. How is that even possible? “Have a mole go and look for any records at Alpha Hendrick's home,” I said and then Charles nodded. “Or, what if we just ask her?” Taylor asked me and I shook my head. She already isn’t comfortable around here and I don’t want her to feel like we are interrogating her. “No, for now, let’s see if we will find anything. Plus, she didn’t know her last name,” I informed them, and they nodded. I went to my room and Emma was just getting out of the shower. “Hi, I know we had quite a big lunch. But I bought you some food from downstairs in case you were hungry,” she said. I looked
