Prologue Annamaria’s POV “Maria, Vivian.” Dad's panicked voice reached our ears immediately. “Get inside now.” My gaze wandered to my sister and I didn't miss the confusion in her voice. “Anna.” She called out to me. “What's going on? Why is Dad yelling?”“I have no idea.” I shook my head slowly. “Come on, let's go and find out.” I looped my hands around my sister as I led her inside. Ares' POV The journey didn't take too much time and I couldn't be more grateful for that. I wouldn't say I was grateful though, I had everything I needed to make it happen, so it wasn't that big of a deal. After Matteo had gotten into the limousine, I instructed him to give directions to the driver. I wanted nothing to do with the menial details, all I wanted to do was get my hands on that girl. Her face was scrunched up in equal bits of fear and surprise. Like she'd imagined everything, but not that. My decision had caught her unaware, and I loved it.
