Lahat ng Kabanata ng Sweet Submission: Love Me, Mr. Billionaire : Kabanata 311 - Kabanata 320

XavierI stood there, watching as my father’s men led Skylar away. I tried not to show any emotion, not to let the flicker of guilt that burned inside me show on my face. But it wasn’t easy.As they pushed her toward the building, I clenched my jaw tightly. My hands balled into fists at my sides. Skylar looked so small, so helpless, yet her eyes still held that fierce light I had always known her for. She wasn’t afraid of me, rather she was disappointed. And that cut deeper than anything, but I had no choice. When she was out of sight, I called out to one of the guards, “Handle her carefully. I don't want to see any cuts or bruises on her. Am I clear?”The guard turned to me with a skeptical look. His lip curled slightly, as though he wanted to ask why I even cared. But after a few seconds, he gave a reluctant nod and left with the rest.I exhaled slowly, trying to calm the storm inside me. Then, suddenly, my second phone began to ring. The name flashing on the screen made my stomach

Skylar “Stay back!” I screamed, my voice shaking with both anger and fear. “If you come any closer, I’ll kill myself!”My hands trembled as I held the shard of glass to my throat. I could feel its sharp and cold edge pressing against my skin. I didn’t know if I truly had the courage to go through with it, but at least he’d keep his distance. At least I had some control. For a moment, Xavier didn’t move. He just stood there, watching me. His eyes looked heavy, like he was fighting an invisible battle inside himself. He slowly pulled out his phone, typed something quickly, and slipped it into his pocket. Then he leaned closer to the door and pressed his ear against it, listening. I held my breath, watching him cautiously. When he turned back to me, his expression softened. “Put that down, Skylar,” he said quietly. “You’ll hurt yourself.”“Don’t come closer!” I snapped, pressing the glass tighter. I felt the sting against my skin and almost winced, but I didn’t lower it.He raised both

SkylarI stared at Minister Adams, my entire body trembling, but not from fear—no, not anymore. It was anger. Deep, burning anger that seemed to rise from every part of me.In that moment, as my gaze locked with his, something inside me hardened. I had already stared death in the face twice and yet, here I was, still breathing. Death didn’t scare me anymore. Not when I had already lost so much.I raised my chin and glared at him, refusing to look away. “I don’t care what you plan to do with me. But one thing I know for sure… Cole will never turn out like you.”His expression didn’t change, but I saw his jaw tighten slightly.“Cole is not you,” I continued firmly. “He’s better. Braver. Stronger. And he will do the right thing. Even if I die here, I’ll die content, because I know you’ll eventually get what you deserve. You’ll suffer retribution for every terrible thing you’ve done.”He looked at me for a long, tense, silent moment that I could almost hear the sound of my own breathing.

SkylarIt had been a week since that night… the night chaos finally ended and everything had gone back to normal — not completely.I arranged the food basket and placed a few snacks, a small fruit bowl, and a thermos of soup. I tied the lid gently, then stood by the door, glancing back at Amber, who was curled up on the couch… pretending to read a book.“Amber,” I said softly, clutching the basket in my hand. “Are you sure you don’t want to come with me?“No,” she instantly replied and flipped a page.I sighed, placing the basket down on the table before walking over to her and sitting beside her.“Amber,” I said gently, “you really don’t want to listen to what he has to say? Xavier’s been asking about you… constantly.”That got her attention. Her head snapped up, and she stared at me sharply. “What for?” she asked bitterly. Before I could answer, she shut the book with a loud thud. “Why is he asking about me, Skylar? He was the one who broke up with me! He was the one who told me to

SkylarI sat quietly in the chair, my fingers nervously tracing the edge of the table in front of me. The visiting area of the prison wasn’t exactly the warmest place to wait, but I was here for something that had taken me days, maybe even weeks, to find the courage to do.I had even talked to Cole about it. He had listened patiently as I rambled on and on, unsure if this was the right thing to do. And in his calm voice, he had told me, “Sometimes healing starts when you face what hurts.”I clasped my hands together and exhaled slowly. My heart beat faster when I heard voices coming from down the hall.“Jason,” I heard Mrs. Rothem’s voice say faintly. “Why did you insist we come visit the prison this early?”Jason said something quietly that I couldn’t hear, and then I saw them appear. I stood up instantly, my palms slightly sweaty.Mrs. Rothem was still talking when the door opened, but the words died in her throat the moment her eyes landed on me. Her steps halted.“Skylar?” she sai
