Lahat ng Kabanata ng Alpha's Rejection: My Mate Has A Son: Kabanata 111 - Kabanata 120

Samantha's POV"W-what?" My lips trembled as I whispered. I was too stunned that I shook my head slightly. There's no way truly that Alaric just said me, but his composure didn't give a single hint that he must have misspoken either. He simply stared back at my flustered face with anticipation etched into his expression. "What do you mean by that, Alaric?" I asked again. My entire body was trembling right now from the chills that washed through every bit of my body.Alaric let out a deep sigh, one that showed vast relief, like he had just released a burden. He didn't speak yet; instead, he began moving closer to me, getting me scared and flushed."Sam...." My name was cut short as his eyes suddenly had a flicker, showing someone was mind-linking him. His expression changed instantly, and lines formed on his forehead, making his face form into a frown. A sharp sigh left my mouth as I felt a sense of relief from the initial tension that was building up between us, but soon my focus shif

Alaric's POV The rate at which the rogues kept coming at us was starting to become quickly overwhelming. At this point, it was clear that the majority of them were drawn to our side. Most of my men were already changed to their wolf form, fending off the rogues from coming closer to Samantha and me."We might need to change." I said to Samantha, pulling her back into the circle my men had formed to cover us. She was too engrossed in fighting off the rogues that she was slipping out of the protective perimeter."What?" She asked."Change to your wolf form to fight faster." I said and her gaze shifted to that of fear instantly, like I had suggested something that could kill her."No." She said, to my utmost surprise. I didn't think she'd still be so defiant against me, to the point of ignoring something so simple and sensible."You can't be serious right now, Samantha. This isn't the time to act stubborn. If we must fight our way through, you need to change." She receded, looking very

Samantha's POVI felt anger rise up in me at Jack's threat. I folded my fist enough to hear it crack, I felt like punching him into a coma so that he never woke up to spill such trash to me. I might as well do it sometime after tonight. I ignore him and leave while he kept yelling my name. I wish he got infected someday.I hurried to Adams, and he quickly showed me to a warrior in critical condition. I began attending to him and to another after pulling him out of harm's way and handing him over to another staff to finish off where I left.I had tried to ignore Jack's threat but each time they kept getting into my head. How was I affected by Jack's threats when I wasn't even affected by the amount of rogues I had killed tonight? My hands were shaky, but before anyone could notice, Adams held them, a look of concern clouding his expression. He pulled me out of there to a little private corner after handing my work to someone else."Are you okay, Samantha?" he asked, and I shook my hea

Samantha's POV "What are you doing here?" As expected, I was very unwelcome. Lily looked very furious seeing me. I scoffed, moving closer to where she was chained against the wall. Her eyes had grown more reddened within seconds of seeing me. "You surprised me, Lily. I didn't realize how evil you were." I said. I wasn't about to sugarcoat my words. Between the both of us, we knew what Lily had aimed to achieve that day: To kill me. "Shut up, you rogue!" she yelled, dragging the chains in her struggle. She was really pissed off, and I loved every bit of it. "I should have known the days you bullied me were just a warm-up of what you'd grow up to be capable of doing." I continued. "Guards! Get this low she-wolf out of my face! Guards!" She yelled, her voice cracking out from anger. The rage in her face was too visible to be mistaken or denied. "They won't come. They have instructions not to interrupt." I said to her and saw how her body vibrated from anger. "You're lucky,

Alaric's POV I had a meeting with the security council, and we discussed and brought suggestions on how to tighten our security and prepare for war. I assigned duties and appointed spies to our neighboring packs. If the rogues came from anywhere or went through anywhere, it had to be one of them. I thought of Samantha more addictively. I craved to see her, so I went to her meeting when I was done. When I got to the medical council hall, I had not expected to see her with Erin in such a tense situation. Erin seemed to be harassing her and my blood boiled from anger.I wanted to tear Erin apart for it."Erin!" I yelled and walked to them but Samantha's scent hit me suddenly. I tried to pull myself together as a result of the effect it had on me. But how her scent overwhelmed me! My primal urge to be close to her, everything screamed mate. The only thing lacking was the snapping of the bond into place.I had seen Samantha sigh in relief and it made me think, If Samantha, who was usual
