Lexie could not appreciate the beautiful scenery in the hotel that Ram chose in Palawan, nor the beautiful views that greeted them when the plane they were riding landed. How could she, when aside from her knees trembling, it felt like she wanted to drag Ram somewhere where only the two of them were present? She felt so hot that she could not even answer the question her cousin Claire was asking her.If Claire had not nudged her, she would not have snapped out of it.“Huh—what?”She asked, and her cousin immediately furrowed her brows and stared at her intently.“What?”She prompted Claire.“You’ve been spacing out for a while now. Are you really okay?”“Y-yeah, I-m—I’m fine, sorry… no problem.”She answered and forced a smile at her.“Are you sure?”Claire asked with a furrowed brow. Lexie only nodded and forced a smile once more.Claire sighed and pulled her away from Ram and Andrew, who were busy talking to the reception.“Did Amanda do something to you last night?”Claire asked he

Aroused, hot and horny- Those are just the few words that can describe how Lexie feels at that very moment. She couldn't figure out if her husband was intentionally taking too long to talk to the bellboy who delivered their things to the presidential suite they were occupying, or if Ram was simply asking something important. She let out a deep sigh, her gaze sweeping across the entirety of the large hotel room. She even nodded in satisfaction when she was pleased with how the room looked. The room almost looked like a huge house that could probably accommodate a big family on vacation. The entire room was painted in a white-almost cream color, giving it an elegant ambiance. The other side of the wall, near a huge canopy bed, was covered with vinyl beige wallpaper. One noticeable feature was the large chandelier hanging from the ceiling of the living area. Her gaze dropped to the living room, and she smiled when she saw the sofa's appearance. Even that was beige, matching the furni

Time passed quickly for Lexie, and she had enjoyed their vacation in Palawan so much that she didn't even notice it was already their third day there. She didn't need to ask her companions if they were also enjoying the trip, as she could tell they were, like her cousin Claire, who seemed to want to swim every day."Are you and Ram sure you don't want to join Andrew and me for kayaking?" Claire asked while they were having breakfast at the hotel. Lexie rolled her eyes and didn't answer. Instead, she lowered her gaze to her large belly.Claire immediately laughed, seemingly knowing her reaction answered the question."Ayyy sorry, it slipped my mind..." Claire said with a guilty look."It's obvious..." Lexie replied with a sarcastic tone, which made Andrew laugh. Claire shot him a glare, and he quickly fell silent."It's fine though, you two should enjoy your time together, just the two of you. Anyway, Ram and I have other plans for today."She added, giving a glance at Ram, who had a f

Ram Jordan’s plans to get her personal security happened, and Lexie understands his reasons for doing that. However, sometimes she couldn’t help but think that Ram might be getting a little bit overboard. Lexie cleared her throat as she tried to call for Ram’s attention, since he was too busy talking to the three men who almost looked like models for Tanduay because of their outfits. Ram introduced the guys to her as the people who were going to be in charge of her security. They had just returned from a week-long vacation in Palawan, and this was the first thing that greeted her. She felt like she couldn’t even breathe after the long trip. “Ram, can I speak with you for a sec?” She called her husband’s attention after several attempts of clearing her throat, and he immediately turned to her and walked over. “What’s wrong?” He asked with a furrowed brow. “Ram, I understand that you’re really worried about my safety, but don’t you think three personnel in charge of followi

Lexie was enjoying a day out in the sun, wearing a red swimsuit. Her hands were swinging while holding someone else’s, and she was certain that the hand holding hers belonged to Ram. They were at the beach, soaking in the beautiful views. Lexie felt happy, especially when she noticed a child walking toward them. The little girl’s eyes looked a lot like Ram’s. Her skin was glowing as the sunlight hit her, and she waved at them, calling out for "mommy and daddy."Suddenly, Lexie's heart filled with fear when, out of nowhere, Rafael appeared behind the child. She immediately searched for Ram, but he seemed to have vanished. She had no idea where her husband had gone. Her attention was suddenly stolen by a loud scream from the child, who was now in Rafael's grasp. He had the child by the neck and was grinning, looking almost demonic. Feeling scared, Lexie began running toward Rafael and the child. For some reason, an overwhelming sense of danger surged within her, and the beautiful beach

“No, I am not speaking with you.” Lexie immediately said to Ram before he could even open his mouth. She was currently eating breakfast, and because of her frustration with Ram, she hadn’t been able to sleep well the previous night, so she was already wide awake by six in the morning. “Lexie, come on, Honey and I are just having a meeting, don’t make this harder than it already is,” Ram said as he sat in the chair beside her. She quickly shot him an angry look. “Yeah, sure, a MEETING.” She said sarcastically, quickly picking up a French toast and taking a big bite. “You know how I feel about that Honey, Ram, and not so long ago, I caught you two in your office. Though you explained to me that nothing is going on between you and her, I’m not stupid enough not to think your ex is still into you. Of all the people who could partner with you in business, you chose your ex.” She said irritably, giving him another glare. She heard him sigh heavily before he spoke. “Lex, t

The moment the plane landed, Ram Jordan tried calling Lexie again. He had already lost count of how many times he had tried, but Lexie wouldn’t pick up. Feeling annoyed, Ram tried calling one of her guards instead, but it only fueled his annoyance even more when his calls wouldn’t go through. “What’s the matter?” Honey asked, confused. Ram only gave her a quick glance. “Hey, you don’t get to be all pissed at me, and I suggest you drop being grumpy and all. We will be meeting our partners, besides, this kind of attitude won’t do us any good—come on, Ram.” Honey added, and with an exasperated sigh, Ram tried to calm himself before he spoke. “I know, I’m sorry, but I just can’t help it. My wife is pissed, and we had a fight, and now I can’t contact her cell. Even her guards are—“ “Hey, don’t worry about that woman. She’s a grown woman, and I’m sure she can handle herself, Ram.” Honey replied. A few moments later, she subtly ran her hand along his thigh. They were current

Ram woke up to the sound of the alarm clock on the small table beside the bed. He frowned briefly when his gaze unintentionally shifted to the person beside him, who was fast asleep, and he knew why. He kept her up last night, as far as he could remember, it was almost one in the morning when she barged into his hotel room, and everything just happened. He closed his eyes tightly and angrily threw off the blanket that was wrapped around his bare body. He irritably rubbed his hands on his face before getting up and getting himself together. His movements caused his companion to wake up. "Morning monster, did you sleep well?" She greeted him with a smile. "No, Honey, I did not. Please fix yourself up and leave." He said flatly before turning his back to her. "Come on, Ram, we had the best night together. Stop acting so cold—" "Yes, and whatever happened between us should never happen again. That should have never happened in the first place. I am married, Ho—" "Married

Lexie woke up with a light head, feeling as though she had been awake for a week, even though just a while ago, she was fighting with Ram while having breakfast.Ram…Honey…The guards…Jackson…“Jackson!”Although her head hurt and she felt dizzy, Lexie quickly sat up when she remembered what had happened. She was immediately greeted by an unfamiliar room.“Jackson, J-Jackson took me here? W-where the hell am I?”Her vision blurred as she asked herself, trying to scan the entire room. It was a well-maintained room, and she wasn't tied up or anything. She paused to assess herself. There was nothing unusual besides the dizziness and headache. A sharp sigh escaped her as she tried to calm herself, feeling a sense of panic when she realized she wasn't wearing any clothes.“W-what the hell happened? What is g-going on… JACKSON!!!”Confusion and fear filled her voice as she called out the name of the man she was sure brought her there. She quickly scooted to the headboard of the bed when t

“Ram, remind me again why you changed your mind? I thought we were staying in Cebu, why are we on a plane going back to Manila now?” Honey asked. Ram sighed and didn’t even bother to look at her. “I planned to stay, Honey. You weren’t part of my plan. If you want to stay here, no problem, you can get off the plane if you wish.” His cold response made Honey angrier. “Okay, is this about that woman again?” She asked irritably, which only made him more annoyed. “Lexie is not just a woman, she is my wife—“ “Your wife who left you for another man, younger and all, right?” She said arrogantly, and Ram sighed in frustration, trying to calm himself before answering again. “Lexie has been kidnapped, Honey. She never left me. That’s different, and I’m too stupid to even believe that she could really do that to me. Look—I hurt my wife in the worst way possible, I wanted to kill myself for that. If you don’t shut up, maybe I’ll do it to you instead. So just shut the hell up!” H
