Without another word, Diego, Jane, Dante, and Julie turned and walked out of the building, flanked by their private security squad, leaving the disgraced officers and Sylvia behind. As soon as they settled into the back seat of the private vehicle and the car pulled away from the curb, Jane let out a long, shuddering breath.
