~ARIELLA~I stepped into the house, only to be welcomed by the dark, serene atmosphere.Didn't know they'd off the light. How come? It's just evening, and everywhere is dark.I entered momentarily and Linda joined."How could everywhere be this dark? Where are the guards?" She complained bitterly."Maybe they went off or something," I replied.I paused at the gate. "War. I hope there's nothing like war going on." My tone was filled with worry. If there's war, then it means the whole pack is in trouble.Panic courses through me at the thought of it.Linda paused, digesting the word I had just said."Surprised! Welcome!" We heard a loud roar. The light was soon turned on.Damn it, the golden light emanating from the room shone bright upon me.I am currently leaping in joy as I walked into the room.I couldn't believe they put all this in place for me.This is a work of art."Congratulations Luna," I heard a voice echo through the room, and I couldn't help but bask in joy. How?Linda his

~JADEN~Gosh! How could she?I thought she's different, kind, nice, and more compassionate about people than anyone else. How dare she then try to bully Linda? She could have been more lenient with her.She went as far as hurting her.I don't care what happened, but no one hurts Linda. She should be very lucky that I let her go scot-free after hurting her.I do have a soft spot for her. As much as I hate to admit it, Leo loves her and that's her saving grace for today.I swear, I could have had her head cut off on a platter. She should be very grateful she's carrying my child.I kept on pacing round my study room, with my mind laced in deep thought.I still can't comprehend what happened, and at the same time, I am more than mad at her for everything she did to Linda. She's supposed to be her safe haven.Linda is my sister, even though we aren't technically related. But she's been my sister for a very long time now. Dad makes sure I take very good care of her. She's the only family I

~ARIELLA~I was still struggling to buckle in my anger as I stared at the woman standing before me with her face buried to the floor.I still can't grasp why she's here.In my pack, and she looks so timid. Five years ago, she walked out of my life and now she's suddenly here, demanding for my help?Tension rises in the room as we all were just staring at one another. Richford could see the anger boiling inside me and Leo tries to calm himself down. This is the most unexpected situation I'd been in after these years.I spent half of my life trying to avoid the woman who'd betrayed me, only for her to come to me herself."This isn't adding up, Aliya." I paused to catch my breath.I have been trying to wrap my head around everything she's been telling me, yet it still feels weird."How can you run off after you asked for a divorce, just to come back and seek my help after years?" I yelled, my voice echoing through the room."I refuse to believe whatever you have to say," I added, turning

~ARIELLA~I couldn't let him hold onto me, not after what he's done.I knew I felt a sharp pain when I almost slipped and fell. But I was too angry to concentrate, so I had to rush out of the place. While I was going, I overheard him when he said, "Let's take you to your room."I felt a sharp pang in my chest, but I didn't budge. The moment I closed the door of the room, I fell to the floor as tears brimmed in my eyes. How could he?How dare he hurt me?I am pregnant for him.His pup is growing inside me, and he didn't think to let me know this. How dare he hurt me this much?I should have known this is what he signed up for the moment he let me sign those contracts. My chest contracted, as I felt a sharp pain in one side of my lower abdomen.Tears constantly brimmed in my eyes. The thought of him bringing in his ex-mate into the pack without letting me know hurts me.I felt hurt, deprived, and used.I had thought things would get better. I actually wanted to clear the air between us

ARIELLAI sat on the couch near my bed, welcoming the cold serenity of the atmosphere. The room seems to be falling in alignment with my thoughts, my head is bulging with different scenarios. The weight of Jaden's words was still heavy.I didn't read the meaning into his words.Him asking us to start all over again was unexpected. It's been a week since the incident. One week of him trying to act like the mate he has never been. One week of being stuck in an endless circle of him always hovering around me and wanting to know me.One week of Aliya living like she's part of the family.Always clinging and walking beside Jaden and yet, he wants us to start all over again.I had thought things would be different, I guess not.Not when he's still stuck up with his ex-mate and no matter how hard I try to act like I am not bothered. My heart always throbs whenever I see him.Deep down, I know I loved him.I wished we could settle our little differences and move on like a normal couple. But w
