Lahat ng Kabanata ng LET ME GO {DEAR EX-HUSBAND}: Kabanata 31 - Kabanata 40

Scott rushed to the hospital, immediately he stepped in he saw the president already seated on the chair in the reception. He walked closer to the president and sighed. “How deep were her wounds?” The president took a deep breath before answering. “Her wounds are deep. I think the person who shot them, shot through the window, because the glass was scattered all over the place. Scott asked the president's men to lead the way to her former ward and they did. He pushed open the door and stepped in to inspect the area although the police were present. Maybe the hospital authority called them. He walked closer to the window to imagine how two bodyguards would be shot in the heart while she would be shot on her leg. Scott is not ready to misjudge anyone but at the same time he was confused and curious as he tried to put the pieces together. He stared at the window for a while and ran his fingers through his hair. He was confused as fuck. He was so confused. He stepped out of the

The party was booming, everywhere was really crowded. The classic women are busy comparing their designers to one another. While the influential women, the business women are busy talking about business.Hailey went to greet the youngest daughter of the Philip's family. The one who hosted the party. They pulled each other into a warm embrace and exchanged pleasantries.“Nadia,” Last I saw you, was at my parents grave. You came with flowers.“It's okay,” Nadia said “I am sure those wonderful souls will be proud of what you have become.Hailey nodded her head, she was so happy to see Nadia. It has been years since they last saw each other. When her parents died, Nadia also supported her.“Malia will be so surprised to see you,” Hailey said, happily.“Really, is she here?“Yes,” Hailey said and dialed Malia's number immediately. Malia never picked the call or dropped a message.Panic set it but Hailey tried to control herself. She messaged Scott first, before turning to face Nadia.“I th

Malia fear grew worse each passing minute. The boss has nothing to do with her. It's a trap to lure the president or Hailey. She would regret it if something bad happens to any one of them. She closed her eyes as her mind went back to Scott for a brief moment. He must be practically blaming himself. He must be blaming himself for her kidnap. If he had found her phone. He would know that he was the last person to call her and he would blame himself for not letting her be.*****Scott stared at the building. It's heavily surrounded and well guarded. The boss of the agency had planned this so well, no wonder she was untrackable. The main building was in between two big hospitals. He faced the president. “Sire, are you sure you're gonna be doing this?Alan ignored Scott and faced the men present instead. “We are going in there to rescue someone and not all of us might survive this…But we have to bring down this agency once and for all.”The men brought out their swords and promised to do

“Good morning love, is Malia alright? Kimberly asked worriedly from the other end.“I am sorry Kim I am not really in a good mood this morning. Thanks for checking up on me from time to time.” Hailey hung up the call and headed straight to the bathroom to have her bath. After bathing she slipped into baggy jeans and a black turtle neck crop top.She packed her hair in a bun and wore two tiny earrings. She hadn't heard from Alan and the others so she drove straight to Alan's private prison to see if they were back. The citizens are already asking after their president. When she got to the private prison,it's silent. Then it dawned on her that they are not back. She checked her phone to see any news or information, there she found out that the president had already requested for backup. The way the citizens insulted her isn't the problem right now, she has to see the man she loved face to face. She had missed him madly. Then she remembered Lucy, the girl who had escaped from the agency.

The sound of footsteps approaching made Lucy hide herself. She was glad to complete her mission. She thought Hilda was heartless, she never knew she would be so kind enough to save her friends. She felt bad for killing Hilda but she had no other choice. The boss had promised to set her free and show her Lucian’s location, and she would do anything to see the love of her life. Before she pulled the trigger, she hesitated but she had no choice. She can't stay without seeing the love of her life. Hailey and Malia climbed the stairs only to find Hilda lying in the pool of her own blood. “No, no, no,” Hailey shook her head as she walked closer. Hilda can't die, not when they were already getting along. There has to be a way to save her. She can't die yet. Hailey bent and dragged Hilda closer to herself. Hilda smiled “Thank you for forgiving me, thank you for your kindness..” “Ssh,” Hailey said “Save your strength, you will be fine.” Hilda knows she can't make it any longer s
