Lahat ng Kabanata ng Alora: My Hybrid Luna: Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

Harry’s POV I don't know what came over me as I advanced towards my alpha. All I knew was that my blood was roaring in my ears and my wolf was going feral due to the pain I saw in the eyes of Violet. I lost control and almost attacked him. My wolf, Valko, was a crafty, mysterious, feisty creature and I hardly let him take control. I didn't lose control, but I couldn't bear to see her in so much pain. It tore my heart to see her hurt like that. I needed to see Violet, to know what she was thinking because, as a beta, I was the alpha's shield. I pledged my loyalty to him and the pack with no questions asked, not minding what I feel or why I feel that way. It was a hard job, but it was a job I would die for. He was my best friend, and I was his tether. I also needed to know if she was fine, even if for a few seconds. As I sneaked away from my room to find her, the scent of strawberries and coconut hit me like a memory. It was familiar, intoxicating, and maddeningly out of reach. Va

Alora’s POV“Let me down!” I shrieked, kicking my legs in panic. The stranger only chuckled and gently lowered me to the ground. His hand tilted my chin upward, his warm blue eyes scanning my face with interest and admiration. He had expressive eyes that showed every emotion he felt and at that point he looked at me like he had found something rare and precious.WeirdI yanked my face away, confused and a little breathless. He looked like a younger version of the man that abducted me. I turned sharply toward Morgan. “Was this the surprise?”Morgan turned to us as if bored. “This is my brother, Jones.” His voice held quiet authority. “Jones, meet Alora. She’s human.”At the word human, I turned to Morgan but said nothing. Why did he say it like that? Like he was disappointed that I was human .Why does he keep emphasizing who I am, who everybody knew I was? Was I supposed to be an alien? I rolled my eyes. Jones stiffened, the smile slipping from his face. His eyes darkened slightly

Morgan’s POVThe moment my orders to Alora left my mouth and I saw the vicious smile on the lips of Violet. My gut twisted. I knew I had made a terrible mistake that would cost me. I almost regretted my utterance, but the words of the alpha were like a bond. As an alpha, you do not talk without weighing the pros and the cons. But I'd spoken out of anger. I had made a hasty decision and could not go back on my words. I couldn’t look Alora in the eyes, especially after seeing the way her face fell. I couldn’t stand to see the hurt in her eyes, so I fled the dining table. Ragnar raged in my head, snapping and snarling, clawing at my control. Why? He demanded over and over. But what was done was done. There was no undoing it now, not without looking weak. And I couldn't afford that. Not as Alpha. Not as her mate.Maybe the decision I took would help her to be strong. She was too weak to become Luna. Her tears were the major catalyst to my decision, but somehow I knew jealousy was also

Alora’s POVI woke up in the morning in a fog of guilt and apprehension. I didn't want this strange place to suck me in. Yes, I had a roof over my head, food to eat, but I also knew that was not all life had to offer me, and staying here would defeat the reason I left the orphanage in the first place. Kicking off the covers, I dragged myself out of bed and walked towards the two large windows.I drew away the curtains and let the morning sun filter into my room.I took a hot shower, letting the steam drown my thoughts. Then I opened the wardrobe to see that I didn't have what to wear. I looked around for the outfit I wore when I was abducted, but it was dirty and bloodstained from the accident that happened in the kitchen the previous day.The rest of the outfits lined up on the closet rack were designers, luxe, and labels I couldn’t pronounce. Beautiful... but not my size. They weren’t meant for me.I don’t know what I was hoping to find, butI decided to play dress up and find an

Morgan’s POVThe moment my eyes found her beside Jones, my heart dropped like a stone into my gut.I loved my brother more than life, but seeing him with her sparked something bitter and burning in my chest. It wasn’t just jealousy. It was the gnawing ache of insecurity, sharp and unrelenting, every time he stood too close to the one thing I couldn’t afford to lose.I hated the sinking feeling in my stomach each time they were together. Every smile she gave someone else felt like a theft, and every laugh not shared with me stung like betrayal. She looked awesome and chic in my oversized clothes, and she wore them well, but I was too angry to compliment her.I loved how her scent mingled with mine when I sat next to her. I wanted to reach out to tell her she looked very pretty in her ensemble and that I loved how she smelled like me…like us, but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. Then I began to pick up on her nervousness. At first, I thought it was because of my anxiety, but no
