Layla's POV. I watched everyone's eyes fixed on mine, waiting for my next words so that they could gauge whatever was going on but I refused to give them that opportunity to pry into my head. It was one of those things that I knew I could handle if I was firm enough. "Excuse me, I need to attend to something urgently," I whispered before rising and leaving. I gathered my skirts, a little shy away from going off on them. "How did someone manage to sneak in and get nobody found out? This is absolutely disastrous.
