The next morning, Kate woke up wrapped in Bastien’s tired arms. She smiled and kissed his neck. Bastien pulled her closer to his body.“Good morning, princess. Are you awake already?”“Yes. Are you still tired?” Bastien smiled.“Last night you were insatiable. You slept for 30 minutes and regained your energy.”“Well, it was my bachelorette party. I had to have fun.”“Was it?” Bastien opened his eyes and looked at Kate.“Yes, love, you never disappoint.” Bastien kissed her lips.“I don’t want to leave you unsatisfied or have you looking elsewhere.”“Never, love. Actually, I think I have a craving.”“Tell me, I’ll get it for you.” Kate smiled mischievously.“From you, love. Let me do the work.” Kate kissed his chest and then slowly moved down his abdomen. Bastien, as always, reacted to her touches. Kate reached her favorite spot, running her tongue while making her beloved mafia man moan. You look tired, darling, come here. — Kate stood up and took Bastien’s hand leading him to the bed, unbuttoned his shirt while leaving kisses, sat him down, and she stood behind him, put some aromatic oil and started massaging — Have you had a lot of work?— I had to finish the pending tasks. We’re going on a honeymoon for a week and I don’t want to bring work. I just want to focus on making my wife happy. — Kate smiled and kissed his neck —— You always make me happy, darling.— Kate, tomorrow I need you to come with me somewhere. As soon as you wake up, put on jeans and a t-shirt, I need you to be comfortable.— Where are we going?— It’s a surprise. — Kate finished massaging his back and pulled him backward, making him lie down, she got on top of him and kissed his lips —— Tell me, I want to k

Hours passed. Despite being injured, Jake stayed by Bastien’s side, accompanied by Ally, who carried a coffee in each hand. She gave one to Jake and approached the restless man.“Hey, big guy, have something to drink. Hours have passed and you haven’t eaten anything. I don’t think Kate wants her alpha male to faint before seeing her,” she said with a small smile. Bastien returned a faint smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.“Thank you,” he muttered. In the next room, Lucca held Aracely’s hand. She had bruises on her face, a bandage on her head, and an IV connected to her arm. He whispered in a broken voice.“Come on, darling... please wake up. You’re strong. Come back to me... Ara, come back to me.”In Arthur’s room, Cristy was crying beside him.“Come on, big guy, wake up. I promise I’ll be your slave. If you want to get married, we will. Ara was also discharged and being cared for relentlessly by Lucca.Bastien stayed with Kate, carefully feeding her. She was recovering quickly. Her diet had already changed, and her leg had healed well. Bastien watched as they cleaned her wound—seven stitches across her thigh. Kate looked at him.— It’s going to be an awful scar.— I don’t care, he said. That scar means you're still with me. It shows how hard the doctors fought to keep you alive.
