Lahat ng Kabanata ng BOUND TO THE MAFIA LORD [BOOK 1 OF ‘ENTANGLED’ SERIES]: Kabanata 131 - Kabanata 140

OLIVIA“Ma’am?”A voice filtered into my ears, forcing my eyes open. My head was resting on a hard surface, and the whole place reeked of stale sweat and alcohol.“W-who are you? ”I croaked.A young blonde girl. She wore a white T-shirt and a black pinafore dress over it. Her hair was packed in a rough ponytail, and her eyes stared at me like I was a stray person.“You’ve been here for the past four hours,” she said softly. “We’re about to close.”“Close?” The word sounded foreign to my ears. I yawned, stretching my arms out.She sighed frustratingly. “You need to leave, Ma’am. You’ve had too much to drink, and we’re done packing up. Till tomorrow.”I recalled getting into my car and driving off in anger. Darren had yelled and tried to get me to stop, but I was too enraged to do anything.I’d driven far away from the estate. And far enough for him to find me easily. The bar was buzzing, and people trooped in and out when I saw it.So I decided to drive in, which was totally a bad idea

OLIVIAI forced my eyes open in the dimly lit room. There was a figure sitting in a chair next to me, humming and holding my hand gently. At first, my heart raced at the thought of waking up in a stranger's room after an awful incident, which I actually didn’t remember. But when the voice whispered my name, I realized it was Rosa.“Olivia,” she murmured, pushing her body forward. “I thought you’d passed out until morning."Passed out? I squinted my eyes, my forehead throbbing with an awful migraine that threatened to split my head into two halves. It was unbearable.“What happened?” I inquired as she helped me sit upright. “How did I get here?”“You don’t remember anything?”I shook my head. The only thing I remembered was getting into an argument with Darren, then storming out of the house in anger.“You were dead drunk when you came here,” she continued. “And from the look of things, you’re still half-drunk.”She was right about me being half-drunk. My vision still appeared a bit b

AXEL SALVATORE ROSSI.My eyes narrowed. “What?”Olivia batted her eyelashes, her cheeks flushing in embarrassment. She averted her gaze, and her lips trembled as she muttered.“It sounds embarrassing,” she said. “I can’t believe I’m even saying this out loud. Or even telling you at all.”It wasn’t something new. Or something I didn’t already know. From the first day I showed up at her anniversary gala, I could tell what her body lacked from a single touch.I just didn’t know that it was this bad.Getting drunk? Storming out of the house and getting somewhere else when it was past midnight? Crying? She was really going through it.And the fucking bastard, Darren, didn’t deny the cheating accusations when I’d accused him of it.Maybe he really was cheating. She didn’t know it yet.I burst out laughing—couldn’t control it. The words made me cackle for some reason, and she flashed me a stern look at the sound of my taunting laughter. Her eyebrows furrowed. “Why are you laughing?”My head

OLIVIAI almost forgot how good sex was with Axel. I slept off the second we were done. And for the record, I reached climax twice.Twice!Yet Darren made it a struggle to do anything properly. I was tipsy, so the alcohol wasn’t the problem like I’d always blamed. Even with the migraine I had, everything was good.Fucking good.By morning… At about seven thirty-three a.m., I’d woken up and was getting ready to leave when Axel walked in.I couldn’t remember what happened after I slept off. Maybe he had a meeting at midnight? Went out for some fresh air?I don’t know. I was too tired to pay attention.“You’re leaving?”That was the first question he asked when he saw me putting on my jacket. My clothes were scattered on the floor, and I literally had to search around for my panties after he’d snatched them off.“Good morning.” I responded.I grabbed my purse from the bed and glanced at my phone screen. The missed calls and text messages from Darren were a crazy number.207 in total. Wh

OLIVIA“So this is it now?” Darren asked as he stormed after me, his voice cracking. “You’re cheating on me with Axel?”I halted in my tracks, my fists clenching while I tried to release the tension in my chest. Slowly, I turned around to face him, ignoring the way his eyes glistened with tears.I inhaled deeply, not moving an inch from where I stood.“Is that supposed to be your problem?” I asked, glancing at him. “Why don’t you find something else to worry about?”Darren sneered. “You fucked him, didn’t you?” I averted my gaze when he asked that, feeling the heat rising in my cheeks. “That was why you pretended to storm out last night. It’s always been him.”“You can say whatever you want, Darren.”“He shot me!” He screeched, taking steps closer to close the gap between us as he panted heavily. “Your sweet, perfect Axel stormed into this place and pulled a gun at me.” Darren winced while moving his left hand. “Don’t you see this? Or are you pretending to be fucking blind?”I couldn’
