Lahat ng Kabanata ng A Goddess Gifted by Fate: Kabanata 161 - Kabanata 170

Zelena.“Are you okay now, Alpha?” the concerned Tobias asked, gently removing his arms from around me.“He’s okay” I answered for him and pulled back my hold on Gunner. He slumped forward and fell to the floor on his knees. I rushed over to him, dropped to my knees and placed my hands on either side of his face. I gently lifted his face to look at me, and as soon as he did my heart broke a little. Tears streamed down his face and his lip quivered.“I’m so sorry” he choked,“I don’t know what happened, I just lost all control”.I pulled him into my chest and rubbed my hand through his hair.“It’s okay, we’re okay” I soothed. He pulled me onto his lap and buried his face in the crook of my neck. His breaths were ragged, and I could feel his chest shake with each expel of air. Tobias stood behind us near the door, not yet fully trusting that the situation had eased. I continued to run my hand in slow calming circles on his back for what felt like hours. With me still in his arms, Gunner

Lunaya. As we approached the first location on the map, it became clear quickly that this wasn’t the right place. At no point were we intercepted by patrols or warriors. There were no obvious sections of the forest developed to make trespassers turn around. No downed trees, large boulders or cliffs, no thorned vines precariously planted to block the way, nothing. We continued on, just to be sure. And just as I suspected, there wasn’t any kind of village, or anything that can be misconstrued as such. “They’re not here” Alyse called to the gathered Weres. Elaine’s wolf huffed and shook her head in response. Her head bent back and she reformed into her large intimidating human form. Alyse slipped off my back so I could change as well. Elaine stood with her hand outstretched to Alyse as I stood back up on my human legs. Alyse handed the folded map to Elain. She looked over it quietly while the other females sniffed around the trees, choosing to remain in their wolf forms.“To the next lo

Lunaya. The hours ticked by and the bodies kept coming. Venus and Phoebe took down the naked woman from the tree, at which point Venus spewed behind a tree. I get it. It was truly sickening. Not just what they did to that woman, the whole thing was horrendous. We had the members of the pack laid out as respectfully as we could. The Hunter's bodies were discarded in a pile out of site. When there was no one left, the rest of us joined Cleo and Alyse with the hole. Five sets of giant paws clawing at the earth got it done much faster. When we were content with the depth and size, we moved on to the next task.We started with the men and the larger wolves, Elaine and Cleo waited in the hole as the rest of us passed them the bodies. Each body was carefully laid down, side by side, at the bottom of the grave. Then we moved on to the women and the smaller wolves. And then finally, the children. We took the time to place and arrange each and every one of the pack members to look as peaceful as

Lunaya.Elaine growled lowly but stood up straight from her attack stance. She stepped up next to me and offered her hand to the woman. “I am Beta Elaine to the Luna Eclipse pack”. “Wow, you are a big lady” she chuckled and took Elaine’s hand then stepped closer to initiate Sevasmo. Elaine bent down and pressed her forehead against the woman’s. After a brief second, they split apart, though she still held Elaine’s forearm. “I am Luna Astéri. Welcome”. I motioned for Alyse to step forward and she came to my arm, pressing herself into my side. Astéri watched us closely before a bright smile took over her face. “You must be the couple?” she said nodding her head in our direction. “This is Alyse, and I am Lunaya” I said with a short nod. “Ahh, perfect. We have your special room all ready for you” she said turning around, “I’m sorry. A special room?” I questioned before she could walk away. “Yes, as requested on your booking information, two double rooms and one suite” she confirm

Lunaya.Reading into Ares curious gaze and matter-of-fact tone, I took it as a threat. “No, not at all. Lua Chei is not opposed to polyamory, however, I don’t believe we have had a lone same sex Mating before. Do you not wish to procreate?” he asked with a lift of his brow. Alyse half choked on her current mouthful of food, and I tried desperately to hold in the growl working its way up my chest. The audacity of this man. “I don’t believe that is any of your concern or your business” I snapped, placing my fork back on the table before I used it to gouge out his eyeballs. “My apologies, I meant no disrespect. I am just simply curious” Ares rushed out with a small wave of his hand. “Uh huh” I huffed. I raked my eyes over this obnoxious Alpha-son. My anger bubbled away in my stomach. Like a slow burning furnace. It’s not like he is one to talk, where is his Mate and offspring? “Well, if you don’t mind my asking, where is your Mate young Alpha-son?” I sneered. He laughed and leaned b
