《The Mafia's Slave: Claimed By My Stepbrother》全部章節：第 101 章 - 第 110 章

JACKIE“Keith hasn’t been taking his calls,” I said to myself worriedly. It had been hours since I got the information from Tessa, and I still called her a while ago, and she confirmed that Keith wasn’t back, and that only meant that he hadn’t seen Mia.“Well, I hope she disappears and never resurfaces again,” I said with a coy grin.It felt as though the universe was answering my prayers, and to even make it better, I didn’t have to do the job myself. “So, that little bitch had plans of her own, and that was why she refused mine,” I kept thinking to myself. She might be young, but I had to give it to her that she was wise and strategic. My only disappointment was how disturbed Keith was. According to the report I got from Tessa, Keith had driven back home like a wild beast, and since he left, he hadn’t returned. He was enraged about Mia’s disappearance. It made me wonder if Keith would feel like this if anything ever happened to me. “I hope he never finds her,” I stated jealously.

MIAI opened my eyes slowly. It was as though the whole thing was a repeated circle, because not too long ago, I was opening my eyes after collapsing by the roadside, after escaping.Only this time around, the moment my eyes landed on the roof, I knew that it was Keith’s mansion, and without even having to look around, I guessed it was the clinic in his house.Everywhere smelled of blood, and death, and a shiver ran down my spine. I didn’t even know what to feel.My whole body was in pain.Didn’t this pain go away?I was also feeling a headache, but it wasn’t intense. And then the smell of blood returned, strong and persistent, and I wanted to throw up. I goggled, and immediately, a hand held the back of my head and another hand brought forth a bowl, and I emptied everything in my stomach into the bowl.“Take it easy, Mia,” a female voice said gently.Just when I thought I was done, I retched again and more vomit came out from my throat. The more I vomited, the more pain I felt in my

KEITH I sat in my office trying to get some paperwork done, but it was difficult.I couldn’t stop thinking and worrying about Mia, who was lying upstairs, and the pain on my shoulder seemed to be taking a toll on me.The doctor did a great job taking off the bullet and stitching it back up, and so far, the painkillers and drugs have been helping, but today, the pain came again.“Damn those poisonous bullets,” I cursed in annoyance.I hadn’t been hit before, and if this was how it felt to be shot, I now understood why people rarely survived it. The doctor had been bewildered as well.“How you managed to not pass out is a mystery to me, Keith,” he had said when he stitched me up. “This bullet kills faster, and if it hits in safe areas like your shoulder, then it will take you out for a while, and if treatment isn’t administered, the person might die,” he had explained further, and this was because when he got to my mansion, he had found me waiting for him by Mia’s side.First of all, c

KEITH “Do not fail me.”Those were Terrace’s words before he ended the call. His voice was firm and deep. Usually, Terrace wasn’t a man to play around with words, but something about the conversation with him sent shivers down my spine. There was an unspoken threat connected with all the words he said. It was like hearing from the devil himself. Terrace was the devil himself. For a moment, I couldn’t move or shake. I couldn’t even breathe. It was as though I had already fought a battle with the devil and lost. How could I handle this when I was the person Terrace was desperately looking for? Even if, by some sheer miracle, which wasn’t even possible to begin with, Terrace decided to forgive me over killing Von Quavo, he would never, ever let Don Milano’s murder go unpunished. The door burst open and Cain stormed in.“Just the man I want to see,” I said.I recalled wanting Cain to be a part of the conversation; not so that Terrace would know anyway, but because it would be better, and

KEITH “How is she?” I asked the doctor, almost impatiently. In the last hour, I had been restless and almost running insane. Mia wouldn’t stop screaming, and worse, she wasn’t waking up. All attempts to wake her up had been futile, so I had had to call the doctor, who, as usual, came at the speed of light. It was a good thing he didn’t live too far away. While he took care of Mia, Cain had had to leave to fix the mess at Don Milano’s club. We had to work with time and speed so as not to ruin things. Even as the doctor attended to Mia, I had stayed conscious of the fact that Terrace’s bodyguard was on his way and might get here any time soon.Everything was happening at once, and it was causing my head to ache badly. I had already taken some painkillers, but it wasn’t helping. I had also instructed Cain to tell my guards minding the gate to inform me first about the arrival of Terrace’s bodyguard before letting him in. That way, he wouldn’t come in and see anything that would give hi
