Lahat ng Kabanata ng Love & Fate Series: The Thrown Away Girl: Kabanata 131 - Kabanata 140

Suddenly, we are interrupted by the bitch in question. “I said you are dismissed, maid! Go home! But since you were late today you need to come in an hour early tomorrow morning!”“What the hell is wrong with you, Colette? I don’t understand what your problem is! I told you I’m not having a baby with you and you know damn well you are on birth control! You are not pregnant and I don’t even give a damn if you are pregnant because it isn’t mine!” I snarl, pulling her closer to me. I don't know if it's to protect June from Colette, or if I'm worried she'll punch the bitch in the face... Which is a possibility!“Gabe, baby. We don’t need to discuss this here, in front of the little maid. Let’s go back to our room-” she says sneaking up to us and is just about to pull Juniper out of my arms when I cuts her off.“My room is not ‘our’ room Colette! And I don’t have any secrets from Juniper! I’m not hiding her and we sure as hell don’t have anything to ‘discuss’!” I shot back, pulling June ba

I writhe in pain as I choke on my own blood. I just want him to leave me alone so I can suffer in peace. Maybe one of the gardeners would find me. Dennis is pretty nice... Maybe he could help me hobble back to my car?Everything is spinning and I just want to die so the pain will go away. I don't think I've ever been hurt this badly before... And those cheerleaders can pack a punch!Maybe if I just roll over and play dead. I'm not sure it worked so well for the possum...I thought the pain in my heart was enough to stop my existence... I guess this is just the cherry on top. I'm sure Colette will be pleased as punch when she finds out I died right in front of the damn mansion. There is a sudden commotion, but I can't open my eyes. The noise is rivaling the pain in my head and I'm seeing stars inside my eye lids."WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO?" Bellowed an irate voice that shook the air and caused my breath to hitch.I know that voice... But what is he doing here? Shouldn't he be all cuddl

I want to call the cops, but he has them in his pocket and they wouldn't do a damn thing about it!“What are you doing here?” Gabriel steps forward and demands. There is a feral look in his eye I don't like. This man is getting up there in age, and I swear he is starting to lose sense of reality sometimes... It's like he thinks he can run the universe... But I refuse to listen to him.“What does it look like! I’m saving the woman I love for a tyrant!” I snarl, stepping closer to see the extent of the damage he has caused on an innocent woman. “I don’t know how you did it, but I will never forgive you!”I know they had this planned. It is too coincidental! Having me drugged out of my mind just to have June walk in on us in bed, and then she runs away, and lo and behold Gabriel is out here beating the hell outta her!“I don’t know what you are talking about!” Gabriel shot back, straightening his back, trying to intimidate me.But it's been years since this tactic actually worked for me.

Gabe's POVHours after I've settled Juniper at home, I'm sitting at the bar with a beer in my hand. The beer is cold and crisp and the alcohol is giving me a slight buzz, but not enough to take away the anxiety pouring off me in waves.I'm so screwed up right now. How the hell am I going to fix all of this? I need help. I can't do this on my own... There is just too much.I think back to when June finally woke. My heart cracks as I replay the conversation with her. I really don't deserve her. I know that... But it doesn't stop me. She's mine, and she has to know it!Her eyes had finally been able to open and I saw those beautiful, unique eyes... However the fear in them cut me to the quick. I don't ever want Juniper to be scared of me. It hurts that she would think I could lay my hand on her... Then again, I don't need to hit her to hurt her. I'm pretty damn good at that without being physical."What are you doing here?" she rasped out. I watched as she tried to put up her walls aroun

A few hours later I brought her back to her apartment... I tried to convince her that I could pay for a hotel room for a few days, but she refused... She said she didn't want anything to do with hotels for a while... How could I blame her?But I also wasn't going to leave her to starve, so I ordered some groceries to be brought to her place. It was the least I could do. She tried to argue, but I wasn't going to listen to her on this one. I was not going to leave until she had at least half her cupboards filled and her fridge stuffed with produce and dairy. I got her some sandwich stuff she could use for a quick meal... I even got her a gallon of chocolate chip ice cream. When I got her settled into bed, I put my number into her phone and told her to call me if anything happened... Or if she just felt like talking to me.I really didn't want to leave her there all alone, but she promised she would be fine. She just needed to rest, so I kissed the top of her head and headed to Mike's ba
