~~Romeo Amoretti~~“Oohhh, I see she's got you working too?” Nero says loudly, interrupting my precious silence. I glanced at him briefly, then back at the smoker. It'll take an hour or so. Abigail came out a few minutes ago to tell me to keep an eye on it and count down two and a half hours. She plans on finishing it up in the oven. “I offered,” I admitted. I'm not sure why. I was just standing there, listening to the three of them work around the kitchen. Asking myself whether my plan was going to work or if I'd just made a grave mistake bringing my brothers the source of their desires for two whole weeks under the same roof. Nero whistled, handing me a glass of the margarita he'd made. “Why? I thought you were going to be grouchy forever.”I took the cup, taking a small sip before placing it down on the nearby table. “I'm not being grouchy. I wanted rules to guide us for the next two weeks. We're leaving her here alone next weekend. How can I know I can trust her if she doesn'

~~Abigail Darlington~~Running around the beach was fun and tiring. Though Niccolo and Nero seemed to fall into this silence that felt like they were conspiring telepathically. I wasn't bothered by it; I just thought it was strange. We returned to the beach house, and I must say, I despise these stairs. Walking down the first time almost took me out, but I held myself together. I'm free diving down next time. I might break bones, but at least I won't have to walk. I have walked longer miles, but walking and going up or down some steps are two different things. I showered late into the evening. The bathroom had a glass wall with a view. I could close the curtains; however, I didn't care about any of that. I liked seeing moonlight as I stood under the warm spray. Washing away all the sand and dirty seawater. I could hear movement around the house. Living with three men isn't something I ever thought I'd do. These two weeks could either be the most fun or the least. After my shower

~~Nero Amoretti~~Making a bet with my brother was probably a dumb idea. But I chose to do it anyway because I wanted to take a page out of his book and be stupid for once in my life. Darling didn't seem to mind the idea of taking on two of us. She had a smile that only seemed to grow as Niccolo swore up and down that he would make Romeo pay.I'm not sure why he was so shocked. The night Romeo called us to the hotel, he made it pretty clear that he had gone all out on her, and she was practically knocked out. What the hell did Nero think that would mean? She even woke up in a daze. I know he's not the brightest, but come the fuck on? He should have been able to make the connection.I just don't ask because I don't want my pride wounded. I've already accepted that I'm not exactly the prized stallion when it comes to sex. I don't care that much. But compared to Nero? Why am I even entertaining this thought? It's not going to do me any good. I'm fairly confident I can win this. Crazy

~~Abigail Darlington~~I lay sprawled across Romeo’s bed, staring up at the ceiling while pure rage simmered through every fiber of my body. That man was bad fucking luck.I swear he had some supernatural ability to sense when people were enjoying themselves, because the second fun entered the room, he appeared just to ruin it. Like some bitter, brooding storm cloud hovering over everyone else's sunshine. And today? Today he had absolutely outdone himself. My jaw tightened as I replayed the moment he had dragged me away.I had been perfectly happy—more than happy, actually. His brothers had been entertaining, charming in their own dangerous way. The tension in the room had been thick, electric, the kind of moment where things could turn deliciously reckless. I was about to be the meat between their competitive sandwich. And then Romeo walked in.Just like that. Fun over.“I swear he needs to loosen up with something hot,” I muttered to myself, staring at the ceiling. “Like a branding

~~Abigail Darlington~~“You guys scared me,” I exclaimed, pressing a hand to my chest as my heart slowly settled. I brushed past them without waiting for a response and hurried straight into the kitchen. My nerves needed something to focus on.Preferably water.I grabbed a bottle from the fridge and twisted the cap off, lifting it to my mouth and chugging like it was the only thing keeping me alive. The cool water slid down my throat, and I didn’t stop until I had drained half the bottle.Behind me, I heard their footsteps following into the kitchen.Of course they were.I lowered the bottle and wiped the back of my hand across my mouth, taking another quick gulp before setting it on the counter.God, I needed real food. The pathetic thing I’d eaten for breakfast hours ago had long since burned off. My stomach felt hollow, like it had been running on fumes all afternoon while I tortured myself with their work.“Sorry,” Niccolo said from somewhere behind me. Seeming like he's the only
