LUCIAN Elias' eyes flashed red, then turned really dark with hints of red on the outer part of his pupil. He moved, fist clenched, and ready to attack. I jumped in front of Elias without thinking and wrapped my hands around his arm in an attempt to hold him back. Gripping his arm tight to restrain him from retaliating. I felt Elias’s rage beneath my fingers in the way his muscles flexed under my grip, as though he wanted to break free and tear Luke into pieces right here and now, yet Elias was still under my hands. "You should leave," I mouthed to Luke, afraid for him. Luke's gaze lingered on me a second longer, flickered to Elias. I held my breath, half expecting him to attack Elias again and knowing I wouldn't be able to stop Elias. It's even a wonder he didn't thwart my hands away like I was some pest and actually stopped. Luke's lips set in a grim line as he turned on his heels and walked away briskly. Elias made to move again. I gently pulled at his arm but firmly.
