Kassy’s Pov“Cheers to freedom,” Jenny says.She was holding a wine glass, while I was holding a glass of juice.I chuckle as we click our glasses together.The minute Jenny heard I was officially divorced, she rushed to my house to take me out to celebrate. I didn't even have time to properly process what had happened before she showed up, already excited and ready to drag me out.“I'm so, so happy you're finally free from that bastard.”“You have no idea,” I say.Jenny chuckles.I look at her. “What?” I ask, smiling myself.“I wonder what he looked like while signing the divorce papers.”I laugh.“Shawn looked quite normal signing it, though. He looked nervous and reluctant, but a lot was depending on it. He didn't have a choice. He looked pretty normal” I say.“I doubt that,” Jenny says.I chuckle, sipping my juice.There is no point arguing with Jenny. She will only believe what she wants.She probably expected to hear that Shawn was crying and throwing up as he signed the papers.
