Lahat ng Kabanata ng Ex and Son Beg, But I Never Turn Back: Kabanata 301 - Kabanata 310

Luigi’s POVSilence settled over the room as Giulia grappled with what she was hearing.“It was our plan though. The winery take-over. The fake wine bottles. The smuggling.”“It was never my intention to have you run your…operations…from the Hernandez estate. It was a test, Giulia. I needed to see what you were willing to do. To test your loyalty.”“A test?” Gulia whispered. “What about my marriage to Enzo?” she asked.“I wasn’t going to let you go through with that. I have a far better suitor lined up for you. No offense, Luigi,” Corloni said.“I don’t understand,” Giulia shook her head.“After your little failure in the United States, I wanted to give you a second chance. To test the waters. To see what you’d come up with. And I have to hand it to you. It was a good plan, Giulia. A paper marriage. Smuggling through the winery. Not bad. Plus, you pulled the trigger when I asked you to. You served me well. But I was never going to let you take the Hernandez estate.”“Why not?” Giulia a

Third Person POVCorloni didn’t come right out and say that Romania was a punishment; he didn’t need to. But Giulia’s father had messed up royally, and he couldn’t keep Giulia in Italy. The whorehouse needed a mistress. Someone hard and cruel, with little humanity left.It was a hard job, managing the whorehouse, since the men who frequented it were vile, morally corrupt men. And the women were shells of a person, broken and force fed drugs to keep them in a state of compliance.Giulia would do just fine there, Corloni realized as she turned down his offer for a reception for her father. He could see her eyes harden as she accepted her fate. Who knew? Maybe he’d allow her to come back to Italy one day, after he was sure that she was, in fact, a hardened criminal. But only time would tell.He filled her in on the details of the operation, and she listened without a trace of expression on her face. When he finished, she nodded curtly, and then turned her gaze back to the window just as t

Willow’s POVI had been sitting in the hot bubble bath when I decided to go and see Luigi. My heart ached to see him, to have him hold him, to feel his warm lips on mine.He was the only thing I’d thought of during my time locked up in the cellar. And now that we were back at the estate, and the worst of it was behind us, I wanted to be with him.So, I’d stepped out of the bathtub, wrapped a robe around me, and tip-toed down the hall to his bedroom. I heard the shower running when I opened the door.“Perfect,” I’d thought to myself.Dropping the robe to the floor, Luigi’s eyes widened, then glanced down to my naked body. I was fully exposed under his gaze, but I didn’t feel the slightest bit self-conscious. On the contrary, the look on Luigi’s face made me feel wanted, desired, lusted after.Nodding, he opened the shower door, inviting me. The room had steamed up, and I stepped into the shower. The hot water ran down my face, and over Luigi’s naked, muscular chest.Reaching out, I let

Luigi’s POVEveryone was already waiting for us in the dining room as we came in, holding hands, grinning from ear to ear.“Well, you look much better,” my mother said, standing from the table.“Uncle Luigi, we’re having lasagna,” Carl said proudly, grinning. “You’re favorite!’My eyes scanned the table, and my heart felt like it was going to explode with love. My mother looked lovely, in a white sweater and white slacks, her hair nicely curled. Mira and Carl were both wearing blue, Mira in a cute dress with a blue bow in her hair, and Carl in a blue collared shirt. This was my family, and I loved them with my whole heart. I couldn’t wait to tell them that soon, Willow would be a part of our family too.Officially that is, since Willow was already a part of our family in spirit.“I’m excited to try this famous lasagna,” Logan said, also grinning. For a moment, I’d almost forgotten that he and Leo were there. Logan was wearing a Hawaiian print t-shirt, which stood out like a sort thumb

Willow’s POVBy the time dessert was served, Ava had already planned an entire engagement party. On paper, that is.Logan had relaxed, and the kids were so excited they could barely fit mouthfuls of food in between their chattering.“It’s really not necessary,” Luigi said, as his mother prattled on about the guest list and food and décor. “We don’t need a lavish engagement party.”“Nonsense,” Ava snapped at him, her eyes firm and serious. “It’s not every day my oldest son gets married to a woman I actually like. We’re celebrating this and there’s not a damn thing you can do about it.”“It all sounds wonderful,” I told Ava. It was sweet. She was so excited. If she wanted to throw us an engagement party before we left, then we should give her that honor.“You’ll stay for it, I assume?” Ava asked Logan.Logan looked surprised. “Oh, I don’t know. I mean, I was..”“Of course you will,” Luigi said firmly. “I insist.”“Well, if you insist,” Logan said with a smile. “Then yes. I suppose we can
