Lahat ng Kabanata ng Alpha Lukas : Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

Lukas:I returned to see two pairs of eyes staring at me. Mia and another man who I found really familiar. My confusion slowly morphed into anger when I realized who he was.He had broken into the bedroom weeks ago and we had a fight where he tried to stab me.“Guards, seize him!” I ordered.“Wait, what are you doing?” She yelled as the guards grabbed him.“He's a criminal. He tried to hurt you”“He's not. This is Axel, my brother”The room stilled. She glared at me as she spoke to the guards. “Release him” They slowly let go after I gave them a nod of approval. I stepped forward,my eyes narrowing slightly.“Is he really your brother? How come I didn't know about this?”“I only just found out too”Axel spoke. “I wasn't going to hurt her. You fed her some strange substance that night. I wanted to know if she was safe”“You think I would poison her?”“I wouldn't put it past you”“That's enough, both of you” Mia said, stepping between us before the tension could escalate.“It was an e

Mia:“Don't you dare make baseless accusations against me”“You think they are baseless? I'm sure you are aware that any pup born under an eclipse will be cursed, right?”Tense silence descended on the room. When my mother didn't reply, Luna Edith continued. “Your pups were born under an eclipse, am I right?”I could hear my mother's faint gasp.“How did you know that?”“You aren't the only one who knows things, Rosalind. I met with Night shade pack's healer. He told me before he died”“You killed him?”“What could I possibly gain from killing an old fart? He had a lot of resentment towards you and your husband. He told me you banished him from the pack”“He tried to kill my babies”“That would have been the best option. They should have been killed from birth but you let them live. Now they are under my roof without any sign of a curse on them. But somehow, my son who was born perfectly normal has one”“What are you insinuating?”“You transferred your children's curse to my son”“I

Mia:I pleaded with my mother to stay a few days and begrudgingly she agreed.I had promised to return Axel to his rightful place as my father's heir and I would make good on that promise. Here I was, two guards behind me, standing before the house that served as my home for many years yet never felt like home.I was here on my father's request. I had received a message from him saying he had something important to discuss with me. I didn't know what he wanted but I knew one way or another, I was going to get what I wanted from him.I took a deep breath and looked around, it was exactly as I had left it.“What are you doing here?”I turned around to see Teresa behind me, glaring so hard that I thought she would shoot laser beams from them.“This house belongs to my father. I have every right to be here”She sneered. “Were you thrown out after they realized how much of a slut you are?”I pressed my lips together in a thin line. Obviously, she was testing my patience and it wore thin w

Mia:I wound down the glass watching as buildings zoom past, letting the wind blow in my face. I could not wait to be home. To be in Lukas' arms.Dad finally named Axel as his heir and though some were in opposition, the majority had no problem with it, especially after they found out Jade was a gambling addict.I would never forget the look on Luna Lilian's face when she realized her son would never become the Alpha she had trained him to be. I would relish that memory forever.A smile spread across my face and I rested my back.Suddenly, a lady dashed into the middle of the road, right before our car. My eyes widened as my breath caught in my throat. The driver was fast enough to hit the brakes before he could touch her. The car screeched to a half throwing me forward.I pushed the door and ran to her. She crouched in front of the car, her knees hugging her chest and her face buried between them. Her clothes were tattered and her body covered in bruises, her hair a tangled mess. Sh

Mia: I stepped out of the shower, putting on my bathrobe. Lukas was gone. He had left before I woke up. I grabbed the blow-dryer and settled before the vanity. I looked into the mirror, realizing I wasn't alone in the room. Seated on the sofa was Mira, her legs crossed, staring at me. I jerked up with a start. “Goddess, Mira! What are you doing here?” “Well, that is an odd question. I'm your master” For the past few weeks, I went through rigorous magic training, and so far it was working. Never would I have thought that one day, magic would come so easily to me. However, the only problem I had was Mira. Whenever it was time for training, she would appear at the most inconvenient time. Once, she appeared while Lukas and I were about to make love. “Haven't you heard of the word privacy?” I asked through gritted teeth and a forced smile. She grimaced. “What is that? Is it food?” I released a sharp breath, my face flushed from anger. I ignored her and went back
