ANNIE The basement had become a usual place for us; Dylan and I. It was either sex or training and it was quite helpful except with the scars that were on my palms and waist caused by pressure from a certain body. Even though I had learnt to do some stunts, those scars …those scars were like a brand on my body that I belonged to only Dylan Xavier and no one else.I didn't even belong to myself “How long are those Winters going to stay here?” I asked, putting on my dress and wiping off the invisible dirt from it.I turned to face him but his back was turned and he shrugged.Dylan shrugged.“Well, soon, but that doesn't matter to you”“I think it does, after all, I'm your toy,” I said and moved to his front so he could zip my dress. I could feel his heavy hands sweep my back , his fingers gently zipping up my dress. He stood and held me, my waist getting lost in his hands. I shivered.“Yes you are, I didn't forget that… just don't get involved with my kind of politics,” I unde

ANNIE I was all dressed waiting for Dylan Xavier. He was always a fast dresser but today seemed different. No. He had been wasting time since after that night and usually came out scenting like clean wine and dark chocolate. I sat on the bed in silence waiting for him. After what seemed like hours but was only a quarter of an hour, Dylan came out, a towel wrapped around his waist and a wet hair. This was the first time I actually noticed how disheveled his hair was when it was wet, making him look more like a sexy ruffian who liked boxing. “If you keep staring I might let the towel fall off my waist, since you like this porn you're seeing,” he said and I shook my head, he was always so full of himself and I liked it in a strange way. “You should dress, we're late,” I muttered trying so hard to keep my eyes on something else but he was everywhere. “Why should I ?”“Let's go before it gets too dark,” I said, tired of moving my eyes so I just placed them on his body. He was d

ANNIE Dylan had said that the ceremony was a big one and instead of enjoying the night, one would be making alliances and the others would be plotting against each other. I had to dress nice and act like his little wolf, but I was happy in a weird way. “You look stunning, my little milkweed,” Dylan said from behind, he was in his usual black and white suit, but he had curled his hair instead of gelling it back.“You got me the dress, dickhead”He laughed. Who knew I would one day call my abductor dickhead and he would laugh it off. *** The ceremony looked a lot more formal than I thought. The large hall was dimly lit and I began to think it was a kind of aesthetic for these people.“I thought they served only drinks at this type of ceremony,” I whispered to Dylan and he sneered. “Well, since a lot of people from different countries are here, they serve what they would like.” I nodded and said nothing else. “Mr Xavier, nice of you to bring your mistress along,” someo

DYLAN XAVIER Unlike the last time I came here, the room was dimly lit or maybe it was just my senses deceiving me, having stayed in the dark for too long. I stared fixedly at mother as she kept up with her accusations, her eyes held something that was far from love or empathy… There was no compassion, only hatred. How could a mother hate her own son this much? I let my mind wander into the past. How much of a failure I was and how I could never overcome the shadows of my long dead father. I remembered being locked up in the dark for weeks then I became delusional and when I sought for therapy, was told it was a scam_ or how I tried so hard to please my father_ I could never. The room became strangely tight and lacked air, I began to feel the darkness the room omitted especially when father was here. Even in death, his presence brought fear and cowardice and I began to question why I ran away; although I wanted my freedom, I was scared of him… too scared that I ran withou

“Daddy!”“Daddy help!” Amy yelled as high as her voice could take her. Her hands were being bound by someone on a mask, but she could swear his eyes looked familiar. “Oh shut it, little princess, just as pesky as her mother,” the masked man cursed, dragging her along. Giving up wasn't an option for Amy, if she distracted him a little longer, her father would be here. What should I do? She thought. The man suddenly hit her on the head and on impulse she bit his arm.“Psychos, all these goddamned Xavier's.” The masked man shoved her to the wall and gagged her mouth with a piece of clothing. “Just get into the car, you…” He stopped himself from cursing any further before removing his mask. The little girl gasped in disbelief. He was one of her father's trusted men. How dare you betray the Xavier's ! She wanted to say, but her mouth was gagged as she couldn't speak. “Now bitch, be a good girl and behave or I'll have to kill you myself!” He threatened. Amy shut her eyes as the man s
