UNKNOWN¿Un nuevo aliado o enemigo?—What news do you have for me? —she asks as soon as she sees me enter her office.—You don't even let me get in, sit down, and greet you properly. —I complain.—We don't have time for that.—There's a time for everything, and we both know that with patience we get everything. —Her face is so disgusting it makes me nauseous just looking at her. 'Are you sure about that?' —A clear example of that is having managed to get rid of Gregorio Ibagon. —A smile spreads across her face.—You're right about that. I never thought you'd be capable of killing your own father, and I must admit, you surprised me.—What father are you talking about? An absent father is no father.—If you say so. —She shrugs— Now, let's change the subject to something more interesting to me. Any news about Nefertary? —She asks while pouring herself a glass of rum.—My dear little sister is planning her own kidnapping.—A self-kidnapping? —I nod.—Yes, she's obsessed with a guy she wan

NEFERTARY Si vives en mi mundo, sigues mis reglas. After what happened, it wasn't what I had in mind, although I must admit I was fascinated by the fact that it was more real, that it wasn't acted as I had planned. Seeing Mathias's face, all confused, surprised at my so-normal behavior in that situation... The most exciting thing was seeing the clear reflection of fear in his eyes, that mocking and carefree tone was gone. Now, the boy in front of me is more lost in his thoughts than attentive to real life. —All set, I recommend you rest the whole weekend —the doctor tells him. After leaving the building, we got in the car to go to a cabin a few hours away from the city. We couldn't return like we were, 'completely fucked up,' nor could I take him to my favorite place. I didn't need him to panic; first he had to process what had happened. So, Steven took care of everything: the doctor and whatever he would need, especially to find out who the fucking bastard planned the kidnapping.

NEFERTARY ¡Que viva la hipocresía! Two days had passed, during which Mathias spent most of the time buried in his thoughts, tormenting himself—because that's what he did when he chose to live in them. He was so unstable he was barely recognizable. 'Isn't that what you wanted?' —Nefertary? —Yes, everything's ready for today. —I answer Vanessa. —Nat, are you going or do you have other plans? —I'm not going, Aunt. I think I'll stay in my room tonight. —Well, that's unexpected. —May I leave? —But you haven't eaten anything, Nefertary. —I'll eat at school, during recess to be exact. —I doubt it. —I could make sure of that, Aunt. I have some contacts who could let me know if sh— —STOP GETTING INVOLVED IN MY BUSINESS! —NEFERTARY! —I glare at her; she rolls her eyes and storms off. Who does this idiot think she is? Just because she's my... doesn't mean she has to be so damn nosy. There is no one more fake and revolting than her. As I step out of the mansion, I'm s

NEFERTARY ¿Aún quieres ver al monstruo?, te mostraré el monstruo Although it was already spring, we still had rainy days. The last rains made their presence felt, accompanying me as they always have, being my most loyal friend. Just like loneliness, they had never disappointed me. —You don't deserve me being here —I took a deep breath to keep my sanity— I don't understand your reason for not telling me… for not saying I had, better said, I have one. —I simply can't, my mouth can't form that word— Do you know what I hate the most? What I abhor the most about all this, father? —This is stupid, it's pathetic to talk to a tombstone. —You made me doubt myself, when she's a thousand times worse than me, questioning everything I did —I hate feeling like this, I never cry, it's a sign of weakness, of vulnerability —In the end, you turned out to be the same and worse than Vanessa, now I understand why you forgave her… if you had done the same —This revenge is no longer for you, now it's

NEFERTARY Встречи The moonlight illuminates the room. My eyes, already adjusted to it, can make out every corner, but my attention is on that dark-haired guy who was sleeping quietly next to me. Although sometimes he had nightmares—those that I surely caused and at the same time could stop—it seems absurd, but he clings to the cause of his fears. I turn my attention to the nightstand, which had a clock on it. It was already time. —Mathias —I call him— Mathias, it's time. He just makes a face of annoyance. —Don't complain later —I get out of bed. Standing in front of him, I pull off the blanket covering his body from the cold. I grab his feet and start pulling them. He doesn't take long to react and clings to the sheets, a futile action since he ended up on the floor. —How many times do I have to tell you not to do that? —he said irritated. He gets up from the floor and sits on the edge of the bed. —I called you twice. You should be grateful I'm flexible with you, because... H
