Alek–2 Months LaterI watched as Tawnie crawled into Storm’s bed, positioning herself between her best friend and my brother. It crushed me that everything had been so stagnant on earth for Tawnie for the last 2 months. Shifters stopped coming forward to interview for Andre’s position, and she was no closer to finalizing a replacement, even though I knew that she had already decided. She just wasn’t ready to truly think about it. Instead of working, she had spent her time hunting for whatever she could find to eat, which, surprisingly, was a lot more than I ever thought she could eat. It must be because of our little girl.
