Lahat ng Kabanata ng Craved By My Husband's Brother : Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

Killian He didn't say a thing , he just kept taking steps closer to me. He had the lower part of his face covered, so I couldn't make out his face. I remained cautious, watching his every movement. Then, in the next second, he launched forward, swinging the knife at me. Instinct took over before my thoughts could catch up. I twisted sideways, the blade grazing my ribs instead of burying itself deep. Pain exploded along my side as my shirt tore and skin followed. I hissed through my teeth, pressing my palm against the wound. He didn't even pause for a second, he lunged forward again, aiming directly for my gut while I still had my guard down. I cannot afford to have a knife in my chest, so I caught the knife mid-thrust, pain ripping through my palm.Bad move.Fuck! My hands … ..My precious hands! He pulled the knife back forcefully, taking a couple of steps back to gather momentum. The blade sliced across my skin, blood spilling instantly and dripping to the floor. I grunted as I

Raven I waited patiently…..I held on to the hope Killian had given me because I trusted him. I didn't talk much with the two inmates even as they probed me to tell them about my rich life. If only they knew money isn't about everything. Yes, I'm rich but here I am. I'm rich but I still got divorced and cheated on by my husband. I'm rich, but I'm struggling to complete an internship, and here I am paying for a crime I didn't commit. I'm rich, yet my parents abandoned me. I'm a rich mum yet my kids turn their backs on me. Having money is a plus; it's comfortable, but sometimes it can't solve all problems. Especially not problems from the people you had trusted. I sighed heavily, placing my head on the bars again. This had become my spot, close to the officer and away from those crazy women who had attempted to rip me naked and see what my smooth skin looks like underneath the dress. Seven years behind bars can make you insane because these women were. I found out that they we

Killian I'm pissed!I'm fucking pissed and you want to know why? Because I just woke up in a goddamn hospital and guess how long I have been out. Four fucking days! Scarlett was beside me when I woke up and she had told me that the nurses said I was found bleeding out in my hotel room by the clerk. Turns out, while I was asleep, my wound reopened, and I bled slowly in my sleep and almost to my death because apparently that mother fucker had smeared the blade with Celluvar. It's a serum that delays wound healing and triggers microbial infection. Now the cut isn't just reopened and refusing to heal, it's also infected. If the hotel attendant hadn't looked through the cams, then I would have bled to death in that fucking bed. I'm more pissed at myself because Raven is still behind bars, and I can't do anything about it because I have anaemia and my body feels like a soaked potato. “Get me a blood transfusion, Scarlett,” I repeated for the third time. I can't just lie here knowing

Raven I'm curled up in bed, staring at Killian and smiling like an idiot because I feel giddy, and I am waiting for him to ask for a good morning kiss so he won't pick up a cigarette. But he doesn't…..He gets up from bed, we had apparently slept off after we had sex yesterday and went one more round. He opens the drawer and takes out a packet of cigarettes then pops two in his mouth.I pop my chin on my palm, my fingers playing with the blanket.“ I'm guessing you want me to kiss you harder?” I say, releasing a little chuckle. He turns to face me, a blank expression on his face as he switches on the lighter and lights up the cigarettes."What?"I blink up at him, and he drops the lighter on the bedside table.“ Like……morning kisses so you won't smoke?” He crooks his brow till my word finally hits.“ I'll need way more than a kiss to stop smoking.” I frown, feeling like a disappointed girlfriend. I guess I'm out of my shell because I felt grateful to him and I feel a little bit closer

Killian Scarlett is tapping her feet on the floor, staring at me with a frown on her face and a glare. Her fists clenched on her thighs with Alex sitting beside her and sipping on a pumpkin-spiced latte. I just woke up and was told I had been out the entire day. I feel a bit better though. I still feel weak but I can sit upright. The nurse was changing the bandage on my wounds and administering medications to me. The room was quiet with only the sound of the ECG monitor beeping and tense glares coming from Scarlett. The nurse finished and then left, I put myself in a comfortable sitting position so I won't reopen the wound again. I kept my mouth shut. If anything, I don't want Scarlett knowing any of what's happening, but with the way she's talking, she's not leaving this room if I don't tell her about that fucking body. Alex was sipping, the slurping sound growing loud and annoying. Scarlett whipped her head towards him, a low growl escaping her lips and he stopped. “Are
