《MATED TO THE ENEMY ALPHA》全部章節：第 101 章 - 第 110 章

DravenI took another gulp of wine. “Yes, Mateo and I were bestfriends from birth. My father and his had been bestfriends as children so it was very natural we were.” I scoffed, standing up and going to the window. I’m about to dig into a past I didn’t want or remember and walk down a memory lane I didn’t want to walk but for her…I would. “It wasn’t always like this,” I continued. “My father and Mateo’s father were raised together. Trained together. Became Alphas within the same year.” I paused remembering my visits to Thornshade. “They were nothing alike.” A chuckle left me.“How so?” She asked.“Uncle Theon—Mateo’s father was softer. Thought before he spoke or acted. My father was impulsive…” my jaw tightened, “he didn’t bend. Not for anyone.”I saw how she watched me, staying silent, letting me speak.“But they worked so well,” I continued. “Where one hesitated, the other acted and where one held back, the other pushed forward.” My gaze drifted to a bird flying over. “Even at a y

ElaraI stood looking at myself in the mirror, I forgot all morning I’d been nervous as today is the day Draven introduces me to the pack and Astra carries out the rites officially making me Luna.“You really are a queen,” Maris said, dragging me out of my thoughts.“Stop, Maris,” I said, smiling. She really was talented in making dresses. Maris had made dresses for me and Elysia but this…I heard a gasp as I turned to her walking in.“Oh my goodness, Elara,” Elysia said as she took me in. “You look so beautiful,” she said, squealing.Truly, I had never seen anything like it.“I have Maris to thank…She’s so talented,” I said, admiring myself.Maris smiles, “I appreciate it but you’d have to thank Alpha Draven.”“Draven? Why?” Elysia said.I remember he said he was going to take care of the outfit but I was not expecting this.“What does he know about women's fashion?” Elysia went on.“Apparently nothing at first but he sat down for four hours, going through different pieces I had sket

ElaraThe continuous grinding of the stone was the only sound I focused on. I had filled two baskets with grounded herbs. I was just beginning with the third basket when Elysia came in.“You’re not serious?” She said, softly. “You need to take a break.”“I can't."“Yes you can. Draven and Kael are on it. Every warrior in Ironfang is out there searching. We'll find him, Elara. Until then you need to sleep.”“I’ll sleep when my son is found, Sia.” I almost snapped at her. She looks at Astra who hasn’t a word to me today, “Help me out here, Astra.”“She’s not listening to anyone, Sia. I have never had herbs as smooth as these—“ she said pointing to the baskets I had filled, “—even when she made them.”“So her like this is to your advantage?” Sia blurted out.Astra sighs deeply, “You never listen child. I spent the entire evening yesterday trying to get her out of that state. She’s not listening to anyone.” Elysia holds her hands in mock surrender. “Fine then.” I resumed grinding. "At l

ElaraKyra barges in, “This has really got to stop.”I didn’t even turn immediately. I just slowly closed the spell book I’d been reading before facing her. “Good to see you too.”Kyra scoffed. “Don’t patronize me. You don’t get to come and go as you please anymore.”My brows lifted slightly. Is she serious? “Oh? But this is also my home.”“Not anymore. You keep bringing him here,” Kyra snapped. “Like this place is some bloody extension of Ironfang. If Mateo won’t say anything I won’t condone it.”That struck something. I straightened slowly.I scoffed, “I don’t bring Draven anywhere,” I said calmly. “He only comes because I’m here.”Kyra’s eyes flashed. “Exactly my point.”“And what exactly is your point?” I asked, stepping closer now, my voice still controlled but a little edge. Kyra would not stop me from coming here. “You need to stop coming here.” She said sharply. “I have every right to be here. And you know that. Plus he’s not coming for trouble. He’d only come here because

ElaraI was exhausted and it wasn’t physical. I was mentally exhausted. Kael hadn’t brought back any positive news and we haven’t told him yet about the newest development.Draven immediately called for a meeting the moment we got back. Why? He wouldn’t say…I went by the infirmary and just sat. “I didn’t go in seeing as I’ve been banned temporarily,” I said as Astra approached. Her lips curve a little, “Come in but don’t touch nothing. You’ve literally done everything.”I chuckled and followed her in.Astra didn’t speak immediately, she just watched me.“Volkava took Lior,” I finally said.“I know. Sia told me.”“And now he wants the Ancient book of spells that my family had kept for generations,” I said. I further explained for Astra the dreams and the riddle. “I’m going to have to give it to him,” I said softly. “That’s the only way I get my son back.”Astra’s gaze softened but she didn’t interrupt.“I don’t see another way,” I continued, “If that’s what it takes to get my son…the
