Lahat ng Kabanata ng FORBIDDEN FATE: MY PROFESSORS' MATE: Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 10

Aliyah's POV Leah wasn't having no for an answer. She tugged on my arm and led the way, a cab waiting just outside with its door open. Unlike most other students in Rising Moon, Leah always had an eye for the finer things, and what was more interesting was her ability to afford it.Before I could voice that thought, she beamed. "We're splitting the bill. I've splurged enough for one semester.""Or we could stay at home?" I offered, doing my best to change the night's outcome. It was Becca that scoffed first. "You're not skipping your own birthday celebration, Ali. You're turning 21. That's a big deal."I groaned. "It's not really a big deal. I got my wolf a year early. If I was going to find a mate, I would have done it already."Kelly piped up. "We're voting tonight, anyway. So get in the damn cab and stop stalling."Knowing I couldn't win against all three of them in this state of extreme determination, I bowed my head and sat in the back of the car. Leah sat beside me, and Becca r

Aliyah's POVI opened my eyes to the first rays of light as they kissed my face. My body was deliciously sore, and I felt like I had lived the most exquisite dream ever. My lips stretched in a smile and I turned to face Professor Deville, to see for myself that last night wasn't just the outcome of a very wild alcohol-induced hallucination, but that smile died a very swift death. The bed was empty. The only sign that I had shared it with someone else was the scent of sandalwood that wafted from it, and the crease on the sheets, but other than that... nothing.Tears sprang to my eyes and, like it was summoned, the headache that came with consuming high amounts of alcohol found its way into my temples, pounding like an upbeat drum.Did he regret it? Did he wish that it had never happened? Was he also drunk? Maybe he...The sound of a phone ringing cut through my thoughts, slicing them to silence instantly. I looked around and found my phone on the coffee table in the middle of the roo

Aliyah's POVI flinched because of how hard her question hit, but before my mouth could even find its way to falling open with an explanation, the door behind me was drawn open."What is going on here?" The question came from Professor Skylar, and my heart found its place between my parted feet, crumbling with the realization that I had just made matters worse.I spun around to face them, my eyes finding identical pairs of green as they stared back at me, each one brimming with questions. The similarities in their features were so mind-blowing that it made me stagger a step back.My eyes somehow found their way back to Professor Tyler's, and he inched a single brow upward in a question. "I... uhm... I needed to ask Professor Skylar some questions, but... I uhm..."The words tumbled out in broken strings that carried both my emotional distress and... zero meaning.I cleared my throat, ignoring the way my history professor was glaring at me. Tears beat at the back of my eyes, desperat

Aliyah's POVMusic was already swirling in the air and blaring from loud speakers by the time our car found a spot amongst the others that were lined there.Roaring laughter poured out from the house and into the night. I instantly felt out of place as the sounds began to register in my mind. This wasn't my scene. Jude stepped out and helped me out as well, offering me his hand. I smiled and offered him a soft thanks before we started to head up to the front door."Is it always this rowdy?" I asked, feeling as out of place as a fish would in mars.He glanced at me briefly, a find smile on his lips. "Truth is, it's only like this when we're celebrating something big."I didn't miss the way he used the term 'we', implying that he was a regular in scenes like this. Refusing to dwell on how uneasy that made me feel, I pushed the conversation forward. It was better to focus on that than dwell on memories of stories that had drifted from parties like this in the last year."And what's the

Aliyah's POVMy eyelids fluttered open to the bright fluorescent lights and the faint beep of a monitor. The room smelled like antiseptic, the smell was so strong that I had to wrinkle my nose a bit. My head was throbbing like crazy and I could still feel the dizziness from last night."Where am I?" The words came out throaty and weak."Aliyah!" Kelly cried out. "Oh thank the goddess, you're awake!" Her face popped into view and was contorted in a worried expression. "Hey, Ali." Becca was calmer as usual. She squeezed my hand gently. "You're in the pack hospital. You scared the crap out of us."Kelly removed a stray strand of hair from my face, her eyes were soft with relief. "Yeah, girl. You were dizzy and light headed and your legs were weak like jelly, you couldn't stand on your own."The fragments of last night started coming together: the party, Jude's creepy smile, the spiked drink, Kelly's intervention.... and then Professor Tyler. "Jude.... he....""Drugged you," Kelly fini
