Lahat ng Kabanata ng Bound To The Cursed Lycan : Kabanata 141 - Kabanata 150

THEODOSA.The kiss turned bad almost immediately. Not bad in the way that meant it should stop. Bad in the way that meant neither of us was going to stop even though every smart part of me knew we should. His mouth opened under mine and the sound that left him was low and angry, like he hated that he was answering it at all. One of his hands stayed fisted in my hair. The other slammed flat against the wall beside my head hard enough that I felt the vibration travel through the wood and into my spine. He kissed me like he was trying to punish me for starting it. Teeth and heat and the taste of salt still clinging to both of us from the wind.Binny’s life was in danger. The thought cut through the haze for half a second and then got buried under the sheer force of Xahen’s body pressing fully against mine. The hard line of his cock dug into my stomach through the fabric. I could feel how thick he was even with the layers between us, and the knowledge of it made something reckless and stup

THEODOSA.My chest heaved with the effort of trying to stay calm.I looked around me, eyes scanning the shoreline of Lucenia for any sign of movement.White sand stretched along the edge of the water, and beyond it the trees and thick bushes stood completely still. Not a single branch rustled. Not a leaf shifted. The entire line of green looked frozen, as if the island itself was holding its breath. I couldn’t understand how Binny had managed to release that first lance of fire. The distance was significant. The angle had been perfect. And yet right now, the trees remained motionless, offering no hint of where he might be hiding.I turned my gaze back to Xahen. The rifle was so close to my temple that the cold metal nearly kissed my skin. His amber eyes stayed fixed on the shoreline with absolute certainty, the kind of calm that said he already knew Binny would step out eventually.Everything about his posture and expression made it clear he was simply waiting for the inevitable.I s

THEODOSA.Xahen held my gaze with a tension that felt like it could snap the air between us.His amber eyes burned through mine, hard and unblinking, while his hand stayed locked around the side of my neck. I could feel every rough edge of his fingers against my skin. The mate bond pulsed loud and useless under all of it. My chest rose and fell too fast. The proximity after everything that had just happened made my lungs feel tight. He let go of me roughly.I stumbled back a step on pure instinct, putting space between us while my heart kept slamming against my ribs. The sudden absence of his grip left a strange, cold feeling along my neck. I turned my head toward the water before the weight of his stare could pin me in place any longer. The surface still rippled hard from the force of that massive shadow hand. Dark waves slapped against the hull in messy, uneven patterns. Binny was under there. Somewhere in that churning black water my brother was drowning, and every second that pass

THEODOSA.I recoiled and moved toward Binny at once.“Why the hell did you do that to him?” I barked.Kane straightened and lifted his foot, placing a polished leather boot firmly over Binny’s back. The casual weight of it halted me in my tracks. I glared at him. My hands curled into fists at my sides. I didn’t know exactly what kind of dangerous water I was treading on, but the words still came out sharp.“Stop that. Take your foot off him.”The corner of Kane’s mouth lifted as he looked down at Binny. Then his gaze rose and traced slowly over my face.“I see a bit of a resemblance,” he said. His smile widened. “Real family this time.”He cocked his head at me, but when the next words left his mouth I knew they were meant for Xahen.“We’ve never known your mates to have people they belonged to.”“I’m standing right here,” I said tightly, “and I don’t belong to him. He’s my brother.”I felt like both Xahen and his brother had loose screws in their heads. For one, I’d kind of realized I

THEODOSA.I’d been summoned from the confines of the nursery. Two guards had waited outside under instructions that their king had asked for me to be brought to him.Still ever the glorified prisoner, I couldn’t object. I was expecting the usual whenever we encountered each other. Sex.Although I wondered why he’d asked me to be brought to his cabin this time. I didn’t even really want to object even if I could, because I’d been filled with anticipation to talk about what would happen with Binny. But now I was just confused.I’d arrived with both guards who’d led me inside Xahen’s home. Then he’d asked them to leave. After that he’d told me to follow him to where we were now. His office, I assumed. It was a sleek, dim room with a large L-shaped couch, coffee table, and rug on one side, and a massive glass desk on the other with two leather seats in front and one chair on the opposite end. A massive bookshelf spanned an entire wall.I’d studied the spines of almost all the books on tha
