Sophia's POVEthan walked to his designated seat and remained silent. He didn't explicitly mention our relationship or continue to speak up for me. I knew this was his way of giving me a chance.I stood up and calmly adjusted my clothes. With an emotionless expression, I looked around the room and suddenly noticed Marcus's figure. I didn't dwell on him for too long though, instead, I raised my voice confidently and spoke up, "Hello everyone, I am Sophia Evergreen, the only Alpha heir of Ironclad Pack.”All eyes were on me again as I continued, "I don't believe there's any rule in the Alliance Regulations that prohibits women from attending meetings. If your understanding is so narrow that you can only see me as a woman and not for what I can bring to the Alliance, then I'm sorry, you will regret it later due to your own prejudices. I won't waste my energy on idle talk and the trading of insults like the rest of you do. I will only take action when I deem it necessary and I sincerely h

Ethan's POV"Make sure that's straight, and pay attention to this one too.Alpha was adamant that Miss Sophia likes this color for decorations," Max instructed.I sat on the sofa with my legs crossed, watching Max run around busily. After all, this was the first time Sophia had asked for a date with me since we met, and I had to make sure that I made a good impression. Once everything was ready, I put on a light-colored suit, sprayed some cologne, and went out to greet my beautiful mate."Good morning, Ethan," Sophia greeted me with a coy smile."Good morning, beautiful lady," I replied.Sophia was wearing a white dress with some light gold decorations, which made her look elegant and enhanced the lines of her body. She looked incredibly sexy in my eyes. Her light brown hair was slightly curled, accentuating her delicate features.Jax was immediately excited by her sweet scent.I took Sophia's hand and kissed the back of it as I usually did, treating her as though she were a princess

Sophia's Pov His car smelled different than how Marcus's ever did. It's not leather and cologne trying to cover up lies, it's just clean and real oneWe drove through the empty streets, it was late enough that normal people were asleep. We weren't normal though. Were we? No!Werewolves pretending to be human, playing games and fighting wars nobody else could see."You're quiet," Ethan said, bringing me back to reality."Thinking." I responded coldly."About?" "Everything." I looked out the window, the city lights blurred past. "The ceremony, lila, what I'm walking into and yes, of course the jewelry business"Lie! I was thinking about him, about sitting in his car and going to his studio, with him alone. What that meant."We'll figure it out," he said I wish I had his confidence. We pulled up to a building, it was an old brick which looked abandoned almost even though it wasn't though. When I got out of the car, the cold air hit me. November in Manchester. It's always cold.Followin

Lila's POVI stared at my phone screen, a wicked smile curving across my lips as I typed. "Tick tock, Sophia. Three days more, I can't wait to see you at the ceremony."Send.I imagined Sophia's face when she read it. Would she panic? Run to her precious Ethan?Perfect, just enough to plant that seed of fear."What are you smiling about?" Marcus's voice came from the doorway.I looked up, locking my phone. "Just thinking about our dear Sophia."Marcus walked in, his arm still in a sling from where Ethan had broken it. The sight made my blood boil."Three days until the ceremony," Marcus said, his eyes dark with obsession. "Three days until we get her back."I raised an eyebrow. "I thought we were destroying her relationship with Ethan and reclaiming the Ironclad Pack's territory?""We are," Marcus said quickly, but I saw the lie in his eyes. "But Sophia... She was MY Luna first."I stood and walked over to him, running my fingers through his hair. "Of course, darling. But first,

Sophia's POVThe morning sun filtered through the studio windows as I sat sketching. Two days, just two more days until the ceremony which Marcus invited me to.I stared at the wolf pendant design I'd been working on. The intricate details reminded me of the freedom I now have, the strength I have gained and of course everything I'd lost and was fighting to reclaim. My phone buzzed on the table, from an unknown number.I frowned and opened the message.*"You're looking for a way to expose a witch, I can help. Meet me at the Moonstone Café in an hour. Come alone. - V"*My heart skipped a beat, how did this person know what I was planning? Who is the person?"Sophia, this could be a trap," Zyra warned."Or it could be exactly what we need."I remembered from my previous life, that Lila had used potions to hide her true form. To expose her, I needed something powerful enough to break through her magic, something only another witch could provide.I grabbed my jacket and hea
