MICHELLE’S POV.After the fallout with Kieran, I avoided almost everyone in that house. And thankfully, no one bothered me either. It made things easier. But there was one person I needed to see. Lana.I called her that evening, begging her to come over. . If we were going to talk, we would do it in my space. I couldn't trust her or anyone after that. She arrived almost an hour later. She stepped into the sitting room slowly, her heels clicking against the floor. Her eyes scanned the room before landing on me.“You could have just said what you had to say over the phone,” she said, folding her arms. “Why invite me all the way here?”“It’s important,” I said. “We need to talk face to face.”She stared at me for a few seconds, then shrugged. “Fine.”“Have a seat,” I said. We both sat across from each other. I had already asked for coffee. “Coffee?” I offered her. She picked up her cup and took a small sip. “Nice dress,” she said suddenly, looking at me properly now. “It suits you.”
