MIA NEXT DAY...."Mia, sweetie," Grandma's familiar voice made me turn on the bed as she knocked. "Sweetie, come down for breakfast." I opened my eyes and I realized it is morning already. It doesn't feel like I slept much, does it? It really....I turned my head to the alarm clock. My eyes widened at the sight of the time. It is eleven am. Geez. The knock came again. "Sweetie, are you awake?" Oh grandma. "Coming, Grandma," I got out of bed and moved towards the door. I grabbed the doorknob and opened it, revealing my grandma dressed in a different dress, a green apron, and kitchen gloves. She gave me the brightest contagious smile ever. "Good morning, Grandma." "Good morning, sweetie. Did you sleep well?" I nodded as I brushed back the strand of my hair. "I noticed. It is almost twelve noon. I knew you must be very tired." "Yes, I was but I am energized now. I am ready to see all your farm animals today." I said, smiling. She chuckled. "Of course, sweetie. But first

BIG KAI THE NIGHT EARLIER.......I puffed out smoke as I stared at the ceiling.I am seated on the sofa in a relaxed way, my head thrown back as I smoke. Dressed in just my black sweatpants and durag wrapped on my head. It's gonna be a fucking annoying night without my shawty in the mansion. I took another drag of my cigar and puffed out more smoke like they could reach the ceiling if they fucking wanna. Her outburst sang in my head repeatedly. "You are a monster! A heartless monster! I hate you! Get out of my face!" I took another drag and puffed out smoke. "You killed my mother! How could you?! Look what you did! I hate you!" I sit up straight, resting my elbows on my knees as I smoke. The fuck does she want, huh? I let her bitch mother stab the life out of her? What the fuck is wrong with her fucking brains? I have never come across someone like that in my entire thirty years on this motherfucking earth. The bitch despises you. She almost sold you to some

MIA PRESENT HOURS...... Laughter filled the table as we ate cookies and drank orange juice. I am beyond happy right now. I never thought I would be in this position ever again. Seated with family, talking and eating happily. I feel some part of the void in my heart filling up with joy right now. This is amazing. I am seated on the seat next to the one I sat on earlier this morning. Next to me is Julia, one of my cousins. She is very beautiful with brunette hair and blue eyes. And we are almost the same age. Just a year difference. On my left is grandma and next to her is grandpa who is seated in his head chair. Opposite us are my uncles, Uncle Pedro and Uncle Blanco. Uncle Blanco is a spitting image of my dad. I almost shed a tear the minute I saw him. He has green eyes like my day and short dark hair. Uncle Pedro, the eldest looks more like grandpa. Short salt and pepper hair and green eyes too. Next to Uncle Blanco is Isaac. Uncle Pedro's son. He is strikingly g

MIA "Are you okay, Ms?"I furrowed my brows at him. British accent? What's with the accent? Are my eyes playing tricks on me? What is....He is as tall as Big Kai. Dark as him. He has every feature but a different eye color, short braid hair which his face cap is covering and he has a mustache. Big Kai has icy blue eyes, short hair, and no mustache. No British accent. This man has hazel eyes, a mustache, and a British accent. Above all, he doesn't look as sophisticated and powerful as Big Kai. I can't even perceive that familiar expensive perfume. But they look alike in a way. What is this? The body is....."Ms?" he snapped off my thoughts. "Huh?" "Are you okay?" The accent again. "Um... Yes... I am fine. Thank you." "Please watch where you are going next time," he said, turning back to his work. He is raking out some dirt on the lawn. I stared at him as he worked. God, there aren't many differences between them. He can't be Big Kai, can he? Big Kai can't be d

NEXT DAY....I walked out of my room still in my nightgown. I closed the door as I took in a deep breath and let out. God, I should have stayed in my room and not let curiosity get the best of me. But no. I had to go out and I wasn't prepared for what I witnessed. Right now, I am heading out for breakfast. Julia and Isaac will be there. God, it is going to be a heated breakfast this morning. I got to the stairs and I saw everyone already seated. My heart picked up. Grandma and Julia are serving everyone food as the others dig in. "Oh sweetie," Grandma called, making everyone look at me. I gulped. "You are just in time for breakfast," Grandma said. I struggled to smile as I locked eyes with Julia. Her face is cold, void of that cheerful smile from yesterday. Her words from last night repeated in my head, bringing back the familiar sick feeling from yesterday. I averted my eyes from her as I walked towards the table. "Good morning, everyone." "Beautiful morning, princes
